I feel like CRAP today. We went out to run some errands today, and I got as far was breakfast. I was hobbling so bad, the waitress felt bad for making me walk to the table. I felt like a baby was just going to fall out. After that we just went home. My hips make this funny noise now.. Its creepy. I was crawling across the bed yesterday for something... and my belly was actually dragging across the bed. No crap. I am a freaking whale. :rotfl2:

Well our school released part of the kids early due to flooding. So I came home around 2:30. I'm not worried about flooding at our house, but didn't want the kids to get stuck at home in case the road flooded at the bottom. Every since the flood in '96 we have a website we can go to check the river level. It's now officially at flood stage. Bankful is 22 feet, Flood stage is 24 and they are predicting somewhere around 30'.:scared1:

I knew there was a reason I moved up on the hill! Although this afternoon I was out looking at the creek and making sure our ditches were clear (if the creek overflows it will go down our ditches). Heard a tree fall, sounded like the neighbors. Then about 30 minutes later I heard a huge crash, my neighbor and I both came running outside but couldn't see anything. Which I guess begs to ask the question...if you hear a tree crashing, but can't find it, did it really fall over??:rotfl:

 I wish I could carry one of them around for you for a while. Well not really!:rotfl: But I do wish someone else could carry one of them around for you for a while.:thumbsup2 I can so remember that feeling with DS, felt just like he was going to fall out. But I can't imagine what it must feel like with twins. Just take it easy, drink lots of water and try to do nothing.

why do we NOT have consistent temps this week? warm cold warm cold warm.. make up your freakin everlasting mind! :headache:

At least we had our frigid below zero temps last month, odd weather pattern.

I made my dinner for later -- chicken soup and breadsticks. Just need to rehaet and away we go! :goodvibes

Going on a walk (indoors of course) with my sis in a few minutes.

Lil guy was just fine with me yesterday, except right before they left.. he decided to tease the cat.. and she didn't like it.

Poor guy felt the wrath with several scratches on his head/ face. :guilty:

He cried and cried and I felt terrible. Sis said "it's his own fault", yeah but I still feel bad.

Poly was naughty while we went out to dinner too-- I had a gut instinct to close our bedroom door, but thought nahhh. I should have listened to my inner warning bell, she bit the dialysis tubing (we had prepped a treatment cartridge to use when we got back). I didn't notice until I went to get the bubbles out of the lines -- we call it snap and tap-- got squirted with saline. :headache: oh boy! What a day!

But I think she got her punishment. Somehow she snagged a back claw and ripped it. Guess who's going to get her nails clipped? muahahahhaha. :thumbsup2

Well I punished Poly. I was sorting coupons and reading your post on my lunch break. I had a couple of coupons for cat treats and I just tossed them in the garbage. TAKE THAT POLY!:rotfl2: It's about time she learned that she's responsible for her own actions.

Bad kitty! :rotfl2:

i am simmering some hamburger helper stroganoff at the moment, so will sit and chat for a few.

did you guys ever figure out what the big crash was???

Nope, but I'm sure it was a tree. It even shook her house. The neighbor to the west of us has tons of trees and has never cleared his property. So it's hard to tell if a tree fell on his property or not. I'm sure it was though. I've heard trees fall before and that's the sound they make. I have a feeling it was near the creek on his property and there's so much brush around we just couldn't see it.:confused3

We are having strong south winds. It was crazy windy at work, but not nearly as windy here. But not really a good combination with all of the soaked ground.

I just fixed sandwich wraps for dinner. Used some jalapeno cheddar tortillas, laughing cow cheese, ham, lettuce, tomato, onion & pickles.:thumbsup2 I hate to say it but we eat much healthier when DH works nights.:lmao:

Well I've got a million things I need to get done...laundry, dishes, etc. I made everyone take a shower tonight because I have a feeling the electricity might go out tonight. I'll pop back on later tonight (that is if we have electricity). Although I could use the laptop for a couple of hours on the battery.

yeah, the sound is like a shot, isn't it? scary!

it's been very windy here, too, and we live in an area with very tall trees. a few weeks ago a neighbor's tree lost a big limb that fell and took 9along with other limbs on the way) part of our fence. we repaired it last weekend (fortunately not a huge job, just had to replace a couple boards and re-hang a couple support beams and about 5 fence boards.

but now with all the big winds we've been getting, we're a tad worried about the trees again. our neighborhood park apparently also has some trees of questionable health... :scared:

yup, i need to feed the kids, then dh and ds8 will dash off to basketball practice. i will bathe ds4 in the meantime, at least one kid will be assured of cleanliness. :rotfl:

see ya later... maybe! ;)

Dinner done, laundry washing, dishwasher running, 30 minutes on the Wii done. Now I can finally sit down and relax.

Drat, nobody here. Guess I'll go check the Lewis River level or maybe see what the crazies are doing on the rest of the CB.

On my walk we went to JcPenney's, women's coats are on clearance and they have tons left. Sis and I now have matching Columbia coats  No way could I buy Columbia at full price, but for 75% off-- sweet!

Then we took a stroll into Gymboree, I battled with three other moms pawing thru the baskets (it's thier big annual sale). Megan can be assured she will not have naked babies to bring home....if I ever get this box into the mail. :rotfl:

Came home and went with hubby to drop off his blood, he was jeolous of my new coat. Took a trip to men's section of JCP-- not on clearance and limited selection, weird. He got nothing.

Came home and noticed one of our neighbors having a fight, he came outside and I asked what his problem was.. basically he's just peeved at the world and a family memeber in particular pissed him off. Nothing major.
Invited him to dinner and sent home home with a big bag of groceries. He will be getting his lay off notice in the morning. :(
Not sure how hard it will be for him to find a new job.

I told him I will teach him how to coupon. :goodvibes

Yeah, I need to get a package off to Megan also. I was going to swing by the post office today, but then had to leave early due to the flooding. Hopefully tomorrow.

It really sucks to hear of so many people getting laid off. I sure hope that Congress and Obama can get some of those people back to work.

I was reading about the floods. ...how bad is the flooding in your town? I know it won't effect your home, thank goodness! but will it cause damage to school/ work?

Travelocity and Kayak are taunting me on a daily basis, sendng me air fare deals. Cheap even into SNA, that's a rarity.

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhh
