Ah I guess no one is around. Sorry I missed you all. I'm off to my brothers Commissioning this weekend but I'll try to get on before Christmas. With the kids home I dont get to go up to my moms so I'll be back to my normal schedule!!!

I was in the garage awhile ago and found for christmas stuff. Here's a Piglet plush my mom gave me a few years ago. I think she bought it overseas but I like the soft blanket and cap Here's a plush of Pooh that my bf gave me a couple years ago. I love his bunny slippers

ummm snow please! Wintry mix is freezing rain, sleet, wind -- no thanks!

Have fun in the snow, I am quite happy sitting by my warm computer, in my warm home, with my hot cup of coffee (vanilla caramel coffee mate today- mmmm yum) .. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

It's snowing here too!!! I think I made a wise decision not going to work today.

Last night on the news they were talking about what Snow Wimps we are here. But they were discussing WHY we are such wimps! We don't have the equipment to deal with snow and our snow has a very high moisture content coming right off the ocean. So snow with high moisture content = ice and lack of snow plows and snow melting chemicals = icy roads. So now I don't feel like such a wimp after all. The town I live in doesn't even own a snow plow, never has been in the budget. My brother works for the city and every time they try to put it in the budget it gets axed because they downtown doesn't get snow very often, sometimes won't even get snow for a 2-3 years. So they just make a phone call to the State DOT and ask nicely if they will run their plow thru the main street of town and call it good.

We live out of the city limits, but the county has their stockpile of gravel and and an equipment shop up our road (in between 2 towns). So they come down our road to get to all the other county roads. As a result our road stays pretty nicely plowed most of the time. Strange though they haven't plowed yet today??

Wish my camera worked, it's been snowing like crazy here all morning, looks really pretty. Plus I'm dying to show you guys my tattoo. I am just amazed at how real it looks. Last night DD looked at it and was amazed, she said if she didn't know that it was a tattoo she would think it was real. She's a pretty critical person, so it must be good.

Still snowing at my house also. The snow plow has been up and down the main road a few times, but not making a whole lot of difference. It appears that the Portland area is getting some warmer south winds, but not up here on the hill. I have a feeling we are going to get a lot more snow, they are showing a boat load of moisture coming in around 4pm and lasting until 4am tomorrow. It has warmed up here, close to 30 degrees. But tomorrow it looks like the temp is going back down into the high teens and twenties. BRRR!!!

I'm here at jury duty. I've been here since 8am. I was just now able to connect to the internet but had trouble doing so earlier. It's really windy and rainy outside. I'm here in Oxnard (past Camarillo).

My boss let me go home early. I made it fine but I got stuck on my road. My cars in the middle of the road in like 2 feet of snow.

Wow Sarah, sorry you got stuck, but glad you made it home. Is that your balcony? You'd better shovel that snow off before it comes crashing down.

We had a plastic bucket on the back deck and it is now filled with snow. So we officially have a bucket full o' snow! We've shoveled the snow off the trampoline 3 times today. Our forecast tonight is another 3-5 inches and then another 1 inch tomorrow. Plus cold, cold 20 degree weather for the next week. They are now forecasting snow for Christmas!

We had a lovely snowy morning... We took the kids out and they got to play with daddy in the snow. We came in after about 40 minutes or so, and my poor husband was so sore. He just isnt used to running and slipping in the snow.

It snowed most of the day today, but melted quickly. There is almost nothing on the ground right now. But... we are supposed to get a decent amount of snow tonight.

Well taking a look at the National Weather Service forecast it looks like we just might have a white Christmas. So how bizarre is this for weather here! We're supposed to be 45 and rain, that's the rule here!

I truly believe that Bernice has put some sort of a hex on us and sent the MN weather to us. I've lived here for over 40 years and we've never had snow for weeks on end and cold like this for weeks. It's just wacko, bizzaro! We usually get snow for maybe 2-3 days at the most. Well those polar ice caps might be melting, but apparently they've relocated to my house.
