I was in the garage awhile ago and found for christmas stuff. Here's a Piglet plush my mom gave me a few years ago. I think she bought it overseas but I like the soft blanket and cap Here's a plush of Pooh that my bf gave me a couple years ago. I love his bunny slippers

I tried to catch up on some stuff. So here goes...................

Pix, I hope you are feeling better and the swelling and rash have gone down.

Bernice, I do not envy you and your snow. I like to visit snow. How is DH's job going?

Hey Sarah!! My DH made a haul yesterday through the desert. He said it was gorgeous!! I was soooooooooo worrried for him.................he went through snow, rain, freeway closures...................tons of accidents and so forth. He left at 3:00am, and didn't get home until about 7:00pm last night. He told me it was a good thing I was not along with him. I would have been a nervous wreck!!!

Well today, I have both of my grandsons! They will keep me busy, I am sure.

Pix, I hope you are feeling better and the swelling and rash have gone down.

Hi Melody! Thank you! I am feeling a bit better but I still have a bit of a sore throat and my rash is not completely gone. It is better than yesterday. I'll continue to take benadryl and hopefully it will go away. I did return to work today.

I have escaped jury duty for today but I need to check later this evening to see if I have to go tomorrow. I hope I don't get picked!

Not as bitter cold today.. we may see double digits --wooohoooo.

And it's snowing again, a nice light snow to cover up the dirty snow from the day before. This I can live with.. it's the bitter cold and the snow, melt, freeze cycle that I can do without.

I just worry about people being dorks and going out on lakes. It hasn't been cold enough, for enough days, to make the ice thick. Saturday, one of our local lakes was still open in the middle and obvious (no snow cover) that it wasn't thick ice even along the shoreline. Now it's covered in snow.. and yes people are that stupid to try it.

Pretty tree pixie! Love that monorail movie I've noticed those sets in the stores at DL.. but didnt know it had sounds and lights.. awesome!

I think I will drag out my decorations today, at least put up a wreath on our apt door. And maybe string some lights in the window... give the Domino's guys something to look at.

I wanted to open our window today.. third floor and everyone else's heat is cranked up .. 80 in my apartment, ugh! Sniffle sniffle, they are frozen shut with frost and ice on the inside.. crappy windows.

Showed the cat the frost, she whacked it with her paw and scratched at the ice. She's so confused.

I've been inked! It looks really good, although still a bit bloody and very dark in color. Takes about 4 days to get close to the color that it will end up being. If everything matches good then great, if I'm not happy with the color then I go back in about a month for a touchup. Then every 2-3 years probably a touch up. Didn't feel a thing.

I kind of cried a bit on the way over, was very nervous during (my hands were sweating), and cried on the way back to work.

Let me tell you this journey has been a long road filled with dropoffs, potholes, s curves and just about everything in between. But I'm ready to say I'm done! God and I had a talk on the way home and we've decided that this will be the end of my cancer journey. We both know I'm a survivor now and time to enjoy the rest of my long, long life.

Our digital camera is broke, got DD a new one for Christmas. So I might not be able to post a photo on carepages until after Christmas when I can use the new camera. (I'm just imagining the look of disgust on her face and she opens her camera and discovers my photo!).

I didn't see any snow on the mountains though It rained all day yesterday and now today it's sunny yet cold. How odd is that? Now it's gloomy again outside. Fickle weather I tell ya! No wonder a lot of people are getting sick. My bf has a cold. He has a fever and a stuffy/runny nose and coughs a bit. He still went to work despite my suggestion of him staying home. He looked miserable when he came home last night. Poor thing.

Hey girls. Thought I would pop on tonight while my heated mattress pad is warming up. Its freezing here. I expect snow on the surrounding mountains in the morning. Dizzy is probably buried in snow. I think they got about 3 feet today and its still coming down up there!

Alas, I checked this evening and I must report to jury duty tomorrow. I'm bringing my laptop batteries (one is 2 hrs and one lasts 5 hrs) and I am bringing some Christmas cards and a book to read. I hope that makes the time fly by faster. I will DIS from there. Hopefully you guys will be online

Welcome to our world of ice and snow Pix! It's that Arctic front dipping down from...well the Arctic! When I left for work yesterday it was 16 degrees. We do get cold weather like that, but only about every 10 years, so definitely not normal for us. Today we are forcast to have about 5 inches of snow and then freezing rain this afternoon. I don't even attempt to drive when it's freezing rain, so I'm staying home today.

I can't believe your bf is a pharmacist and doesn't know about the cure for the common cold...NEILMED SINUS RINSE!
