I was clipping coupons this evening and clipped some for you. Hopefully you can use them even though they are not yet expired. Do you exchange coupons with others? Do you want me to start putting in ones that you can trade, like diapers, etc? And I do hope you'll appreciate the KY His & Her's $5 off coupon.

And today we got a letter from the unemployment office saying that Congress had approved another extension and that he had another $10,300 worth of unemployment benefits he could collect after his first extension runs out.

Oh I'm sure things will work out ok. He's going to finish up the training and see what happens in April. Lots of things can change in 5 months.

Haven't tried them, those kinds of things scare me. I have kind of sensitive skin and I don't want to be having to rush to the emergency room because I had an allergic reaction and then have to explain what happened to 10 different medical personnel.

I never stopped to think what they put in those products. Guess I just assumed that it was some kind of oil.

I was watching a movie on comedy central called Accepted.

Basically a high school grad didn't get into a college, had his buddy create a relistic website for a made up college. Just by clicking "enroll" he got accepted intothe college. They took over an abondoned mental hospital, made it look like a dorm and the parents were so proud to see their son acccpeted into a college.

Well, the website was a littel too realistic.. several hundred people showed up -- all enrolled -- all "accepted".

Bit of creativity , they self taught classes and created their own classes.
And they got accredited.

Which brings me to.... we should set up our own college!

I FINALLY got a $10 off $10 coupon..

It's the small things that excite me.. really...

I did Kmart doubles today, last chance.

They actually had things in stock!
That NEVER happens for me.
$200 worth of products, walked out paying $55
I think a few didn't double.. but it's so much work to argue that I just gave up, convinced myself that it was still a good deal.


Then we hit Walgreen's, got items that qualified for a $5 register reward.. bought more than needed to bump it to $25 order total and it popped out another $5 RR.
Went back in and bought candy -- coupons and rebate items. It was marked incorrectly for price,cashier agreed me with me... adjusted the price on each one.. paid $7 out of pocket.. getting $5 back.

I am officially 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% done with my Christmas shopping. Everything is wrapped and under the tree...or actually somewhere in the vicinity of the tree. My tree branches hang down rather low and my tree spins, so I can't put presents under it.

Anyway I'm just about done! Still have a few odds and ends and stocking stuffers to pick up, but that's pretty much it. And yes Bernice I too have the $10 off $10 JC Penney gift certificate, so I'm going to pick up something for free tomorrow. I have no idea what, but Free is a good price.

DD got her friend a Macy's gift card at Safeway and it spit out a $10 of $10 Kohl's catalina. So I used that to get one of my nephews a gift and DS an I Spy puzzle.

Just stocking stuffers and a couple of little things left to get. We are also thinking about getting DD the Nikon CoolPix S60 digital camera. I am having a hard time stomaching the $300 price tag...it's a nice camera and the touch screen is cool. But it's all she has asked for.
