dh took the garbage out, and take the wheeled container to the curb for pick-up tomorrow. he was gone so long i forgot he was out there until he came back in. and he had a red envelope in his hand.
i asked where he'd been, and he said he'd gotten caught by the neighbor curbside, and they'd been chatting for about 5 minutes.

he says she behaved as if nothing ever happened, which is weird in itself. then he tossed the red envelope in my lap and said, "this is for you."
omg! she's inviting me to some sort of holiday get-together at her house!
it looks fine on my computer and on the laptop...

He was on the computer, and I leaned over him to get my water.. and miscalculated. Right in the side of the head.. I was moving kinda fast too. lucky he didnt get a concussion.
