YIKES! On both counts!
I know that uncontrolled GD makes for very fat babies, and high BP makes for underweight babies. I had GD and it was uncontrolled in the last week or so (because of a steroid I had to take for Bell's Palsy); Ds was a little butterball!![]()
And one of my best friends had high BP through her whole pregnancy and she delivered at 31 weeks. MAN, that was a tiny baby! I don't remember what her weight was, but she was itty bitty. Today she's rather tall.![]()
Yup.. I know that a lot of the women who had their babies early had them because of high BP. They have the twin boards split up into 2 month segments.. based on when you are due. I am in the March/April group.. The first one from the January/Feb. group had her baby last week..
