so if we want to get an order to arrive on saturday around noon, can we order it the day before after we arrive? or do they need more than 24 hours' notice?

I would order it as soon as you can, so you can insure your delivery time. Thats the only thing I worry about.

If that is the soonest you can. I know that here, the weekend delivery dates go quick. On thursday, there might not be any open. But I dont know about there.. You would have to log on to check it out.

i think people down there order from albertsons or von's? i'm pretty sure albertson's is one, anyway...

Yup. We do Safeway here... Which is Vons. I find the site easier to maneuver. The Albertsons one is a little wonky.

For delivery here.. I have NEVER done next day delivery. EVER. Its always booked up. Again, i dont know about there.. It could be totally different.

geez, did you see the WAMU layoffs info? dh told me it's something like 2100 jobs in the seattle area. OUCH. i know somebody there, and i hope she's going to be ok.

Yes. Vons and Safeway are the same. Safeway has a more manageable site..

the local businesses near the downtown wamu tower apparently are already seeing declining business.

oh, and in case you missed it, the economists say we are officially in a recession. (because somebody hadn't already figured that out???)

Nothing much. I had a long 4 day weekend. It was a bit boring at times but I had fun with my cousins and siblings. My bf and I went to DL on Saturday. We were both bummed because Space Mountain broke down. Oh and BB got rid of my prime rib and changed it to steak.

It was cool seeing the Christmas decorations and eating a dole whip float (they raised the price! )

I got one from Cost Plus World Market. The chocolates taste yummy! I haven't opened it yet. I'm afraid I'll eat it all before christmas!
