Wow. Old Navy has some GOOD DEALS on kids clothes. $15. for jeans. Not to shabby. I wonder if they run small.

They have yummy chapstick that comes in 3 flavors: sugar cookie, toffee crunch and ginger snap (all 3 are $5). I also bought part of Emilee's christmas present from there. They had the cutest tops on sale. My bf bought a really nice jacket from there for $25. They had a sale last weekend for 1 day only where their outerwear was on sale for 50% off.

I walked by Sephora in DTD and saw this juicy tote bag in the window. My jaw dropped and I ran inside the store (my bf went to Quiksilver next door). I located the nearest employee and asked if it was part of a gift w/purchase and I was excited when he said no. He pointed to a wall to my right and said it was all there. I guess for a limited time only, Juicy has made stuff exclusive to Sephora. Kinda cool. Yes, I'm a Juicy Couture nut!

Here are the old navy shirts I got Emilee. I hope she likes it. She's tall for her age and skinny. I wasn't sure what to get her so I called my Aunt. I asked if Emilee would fit a size 7-8 (medium) and she said that it sounds about right. I hope. *crosses fingers*

Hi everyone...just wanted to let ya know that I have been very busy so have not been posting on the DIS but came in here real quick to say Hi. I do a lot of volunteering this time of year so my family and I are getting ready for that.

Looks like we need to bust out the Hyena Priority chart.

Good Morning Hyenas. DH and the kidlets are off to the races this morning. I have about a million bajillion katrillion things on my list today. Woke up at 5:30, but it was way too dark out to start half of the things...but it's light now, so time to get started. It's a bit foggy out, but I can see blue sky above. I'm so glad we live up on a hill instead of downtown with all the fog.

Got the leaves blown off the driveway, sidewalks and front porch. However, while attempting to blow them out of the flowerbeds I encountered a slight problem. It seems that several salamanders have taken up residence under the leaves in my flower bed and seem to be preparing for a winter hibernation. SO...my mission was aborted. While the leaves are ugly in my flowerbed, they really won't hurt anything and I can't take the roof off from over the salamander's head in the middle of winter.

I figure I am lucky enough to have been entrusted with this little parcel of land and as such must share it with all creatures large & small. So the leaves will stay until spring. Unless I can convince DS to go roust them out of the flowerbeds and place them under leaves in the wooded areas of our property.
