But I get why it's special and you want something different for her.
Does she have a play kitchen? Cash register, shopping cart.. now is a good time to introduce that type of pretend play, beyond babies and dress up.
Skip the fakey food, keep a few of your boxes and cans - cleaned and taped . She can play store for hours.I love to have "real " things for kids to use.. they want to be like you , might as well give them the thngs that you use.. but in a safe manner.
oh, if you buy hte fake money for a cahs register.. get it laminated! lasts a lot longer, plus I only gave them a bit at a time. Less to pick up .![]()
Or if you feel adventurous and don't mind the mess.. a paint easel, brushes, apron, etc.
A play kitchen. THAT my friend, is a fantastic idea. She would dig it... and so would Alex. We are going to have to check into that.
I have an easel.. and paints and stuff. We have had them since Alex was 2 or 3. My mom got them for him for Christmas. I still have felt adventurous enough to pull out the paint!
