Another timing question...

Just thought I would check to see how bad the crowds are the week just before Christmas usually (eg Dec 17-21). I know that early December is supposed to be nice, but does it get crazy just before the holidays? I noticed on the Disneyland website that the hours extend to 10 pm closing that week, so that's probably a clue, hey?

I want to go around Christmas too. Is it busier than in August? I thought August was supposed to be busiest, but when I went this summer it was fine.

Christmas is worse than any other time that I have ever been...it was so bad that I gave up and left before it even got dark...I couldnt even barely move to get anywhere...will NEVER do that again...

I found the week between Christmas and New Year's was horrendous in the past in terms of crowds. All the people in town for the Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl game hang out at DL.
