another ticket question

Sorry about another ticket question but was reading on another post how someone who had bought their tickets at Ticketmania was able to have them put on their resort key so it was one last thing to carry around. So my question is if we have booked a package with dining and a 3 day MYW hopping pass and staying at POP would they be able to add on our left over two day hopper pass that we used in March 2004? If anyone has any answers I should would appreciate the help..thank you

They aren't able to combine the tickets into one. You will have to use your old ticket as is or have it put on a separate key card that will only be the ticket, not a key. So, you will still have to carry around 2 forms of tickets. Sorry

We have had left over tickets in the past several times and they will give you credit for what you paid and have left and then issue you a new resort key pass.

Yes, they can do this, but you end up loosing the true value of the ticket. Many of the older tickets may only be worth approximately 2/3 to 1/2 of the amount they would be worth is you just used them "as is". Also, they can still only apply one ticket's worth to one new ticket, so if you have 5 tickets and you only need 3 tickets, you would only be able to apply the value of three old tickets to your three new tickets. You would still come out with 2 left over old tickets.

That is quite possible. The best use of the tickets are "as is". Since the don't expire, and at this time, are not linked to anyone, save those to use as a last resort. Once you use the tickets the 1st time through the turnstiles, regardless of when you bought them, they will be linked to the person who uses them. This started in July... it is called "ticket tagging" and is replacing the old hand stamp for re-entry.

Before trading up old tickets and before using old tickets as-is, figure out how much it would cost you not to use the old tickets and compare the difference.

For best value, generally 1 to 3 day vacations may be done with any combination of new and/or partly used tickets, 4 to 7 day vacations should be done with just one new ticket or any combination of all old tickets, and 8 to 10 day vacations should be done with just one new expiring ticket or any combination of all old tickets.

This does happen quite often, so lock up whatever tickets you won't be using for the day in your room safe before heading out to the parks!
