Another surprise trip cause mamma ruined it-NOW THE ULTIMATE FANTASY DISNEY VACATION

Thank you to everyone for all of the encouragement. DH wants us to continue to plan on this trip. I on the other hand want to put all of our money into savings until we get everything figured out. I honestly can't plan this trip because if we don't get to go then it would just be too depressing for me if I have everything planned. So until we know for sure if we are going or canceling, I will need to occupy myself with something. So instead of planning our actual trip, I will entertain you with my ULTIMATE FANTASY DISNEY VACATION TRIP PLANNING. I will plan a fantasy Disney trip of what we would do if time and money were not variables in my planning.

I think this will be as much fun as planning an actual trip.

Thank you. I will try to make it worth your time.

What a great idea!!! Can't wait to see how extravagent your dream vacation turns out to be!
Thanks! I will try not to disappoint.
Ohh; can't wait to read more!!

I hope everything is going well for you guys!
Thanks. Everything is ok at the moment. He has sent emails to over 20 firms. He also is making cold calls (or emails) to builders and contractors just trying to get his name out. He has 6 "no's" so far. But his website has had a lot of hits so that is good?

I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's job. I definitely think it will be a blessing for you and your family. God does work in mysterious ways and soon you'll see how blessed DH was for getting let go! You all will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm happy to hear you're planning on sticking around here, though. You've quickly become one of my favorite DIS buddies! :) I love the idea of planning a fantasy trip. I can't wait to hear more. :goodvibes

Hey, I just LOVE fantasy trips. They are like FREE! So ,here goes. Here are some suggestions that might be possible. We will stay at the Yacht:boat: :sail: Club, in a luxury suite, with a uniformed chaufer-driven limo:car: for all excursions. We will have at least 14 days, with only 10 day tickets. That way we will have plenty of time:hourglass to do DTD trips, with unlimited shopping, because we will have everything shipped:moped: home. Plus, we can take a few hours to rest, hang at the pool, or whatever. We will have all our meals inside with DRS, with the exception of a few CS meals. We won't have to wait in any lines at any of the parks or restaurants, we will be carried right to the front.:cheer2: Sound good so far?:cool1: :yay: OK, my brain cells are slowing down, and even beginning to misfire some. But while I have everyone's attention, I have an announcement to make:mic:. On Friday, March 13, at about 6:00 P.M., my first great-grandchild was born! He made his grand entrance at 6lb.10oz. and 19 inches long. His name is Saben Grant Martin. Got to go, everyone,:surfweb: bye!

Here is the start of my Ultimate Fantasy Disney Vacation. First of all the cast-

Me (of course),
my wonderful Husband (Zeta)
and our 5 children (Alpha, Chi, Omicron, Delta, and Tau)
We will also bring with us my mom (daisyduck7) and her friend Mary,
My mother-in-law (Mimi) and her boyfriend Bobby.

And since it is a fantasy...all of my family is also coming since they all love Disney and we can get along together for a couple of weeks right? So also joining us is:
my sister's family but not my sister,
my two brothers and their families,
and my brother-in-law (and I guess he can bring a friend),
my Father-in-law, his wife, and their children and their friends.

And my personal assistant, Lucy.

Lucy will handle all of the paperwork including boarding passes and making sure our luggage was all together. She would coordinate who sat next to whom so that I wouldn't get blamed for anything being unfair. Lucy would make sure that we were on schedule but also know when to change our plans if needed. Lucy would also take care of having all clothes washed and repacked at every stop. Lucy takes care of all of our tips, phone calls, reservations, and travel plans. She is prepared to handle any emergancy. I could tell Lucy I am thirsty and she will immediately produce a bottle of ice cold water. I could tell Lucy I am tired and she will direct me to a place to rest and reassure me she would take care of everything while I am down. Lucy is a super goddess.

And since Lucy is taking care of all of those things. I get to spend more time laughing with my children and taking pictures.

Now back to our trip.

First, we would be picked up in the FurBus and carried in style to the airport.

And since this is a fantasy we would be all nicely packed in coordinating suitcases. In my suitcase would be all size 6 clothes. :rolleyes1 DH and I would both be taller. Each of the children would actually carry their own carry-ons. There would be no complaining, arguing, or fighting. There would be no messes, spills, or cries. Everything and everyone would be on time. Security would be a breeze. Everyone would go to the potty when we passed one and no one would ever wait until we were halfway through security to say they had to go.

Oh and Baby Tau would be completely potty trained. :cloud9:

That is the sweetest thing anyone has said to me on the disboards!! Thank you so much!!!

Mom you are histerical :rotfl2: I am so mad  at my sister right now. She did not tell me that Saben was born! I am taking her off my list but Brittley and Saben can still come.

Aw, you're so nice...taking your family with you on your fantasy trip. See, my idea of a fantasy trip would be leaving all those crazies behind and just taking DH. :rotfl: Yeah, I have one of THOSE families. :scared: I like the idea of having a personal assistant- very nice touch. I think I'd make Lucy, or add another person to the mix, to take candid shots and video during the trip as well. That way, you can get to be in all the pictures with your family.

Love the FurBus...very nice! :thumbsup2

Yep, love the bus!!! I usually don't have a problem with the whining, crying, or carrying, but then again, I just have ONE!! That makes a HUGE difference!

YES! Lucy will def be my family's official photographer.

Hahaha. That bus is totally awesome!
That is a realy company based out of atlanta www.furbus.com. My single co-worker and his friends rent it a couple times a year to go bar hoppin in and around ATL. They have several buses and his pictures are really neat (save for all the drunk looking twenty somethings  I have been wanting an excuse to rent one and I think this fantasy trip is it :cloud9:

Wow! Teach me please!!! Our baby has learned to scream and has been throwing these screaming fits lately. :confused3

Since we are a blended family each child is unique and expresses him/herself differently. But one thing is the same with all and that is when they are tired they are cranky and tend to whine/cry at anything. I try to avoid pushing them past their limit for that reason. My DH on the other hand believes that there isn't a meltdown that you can't cure with ice cream. :rolleyes1

DH may have found a project that should support us for about 3-6 months. :woohoo: Nothing is definite yet though.

I will try to post again tonight but no promises. I am not feeling so good today. I hope I am not coming down with anything!

Oh, I hope the project works out for your DH! I'm saying prayers, crossing my fingers and sending pixie dust your way. pixiedust:

Hope you aren't coming down w/ anything...get well soon!!! :goodvibes

We will arrive in Orlando and take the HUMMERZINE

straight to the Polynesian Resort. We will stay concierge level. Our family in two adjoining rooms - one for all the kids and one for us.

Lucy will handle checking us in and getting our luggage to the right rooms. After Lucy gets us our KTTW cards we will hop on the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

magic-kingdom-address.jpg

We head straight to Fantasyland where we ride Dumbo (15 minute wait), Cindy's carousel (walk -on), then we eat lunch in the castle. After lunch we ride Peter pan, IASW, Philharmagic, Winnie the pooh, Mad tea party, see Ariel's grotto and also play in Pooh's playful spot.

Then we will head to the front of the castle to see Cinderellabration and also the afternoon parade. After the parade we hop back on the monorail to the room.

Zeta and I decide to take a nap while Lucy takes the kids to the swimming pool.

That evening we attend the polynesian Luau with the whole party.

Then we retire for the night.

I LOVE that you are staying at the Polynesian during your dream vacation...that would totally be my pick too! DH and I have always wanted to stay there...it looks amazing:-) We are eating at both Ohana and Kona Cafe while we are there in June because we love it so much.:lovestruc

Thanks! It is one that interests me most. I resort hopped one time with my husband just visiting the gift shops, etc. And once on my daughter/mommy trip Chi and I ate counter service food on their beach while watching the water pageant. They have the neatest pool and I LOVE being able to see the castle from your room.

Hey there, baby girl. I had forgotten about the Polynesian location. I think maybe I'll take some belly-dancing lessons:rotfl2: before we go on this trip and learn to do the hula:cool1:.That way, I can be part of the entertainment.:rotfl: I sure do hope that nibble turns into a full course meal for your DH. That is one of my favorite places to eat. The Friday Night Gang goes there about once every 6 weeks. :hourglass I just totally LOVE their Teriyaki Chicken. Well, I need to sign off for right now and get my desk cleaned off again:confused3. Honestly, I have no earthly idea how it can get so cluttered in just a very short space of time:confused:. I'll talk with you later. Let me see, I am going to see Chris and his family tonight, so it must be Thursday:woohoo: I'll talk to you later and catch you on the flip side:surfweb: Luv, Me. By the way, I am 100% in agreement on the photographer thing. Personally, I am in very few photos.......you want to know why.......Cuz I am the one with the camera, always taking the photos, and I haven't yet mastered the timer thingee on my camera. Oh, well, maybe one day.

Oh, love the hummer-limo and the Poly! We want to stay there one day, too. I think AKL and GF are on our lists first, though!

Mom, wherever you go, you ARE the entertainment!

I don't think he got the china luck job. In fact when he called, the owner was rude to him and wanted to know how he even knew about it. Apparently it was not public knowledge that they are expanding. Anywho. He still has a possible Church expansion (locally) and a contractor in Huntsville that is putting in metal buildings. He did a job for him a couple months ago and still hasn't gotten paid. He said we will have the money by next week. There is a possibility he may have a couple of those metal buildings a month. We will see...

Thank you. I have never visited the AKL but it is one that I def want to see - maybe even on this vacation :rolleyes1 ??? The GF seems too stuffy for my family - JMO. My DH is more of the laid back-rocker type and our kids are VERY loud. I think it would be great for a girls weekend or something.
