We've been to WDW several times, but it's been 4 years so I'm a little rusty, and I'm not familar with FP+.
I have 7 nights booked at Beach Club through a TA. Room only. I didn't like the conference tickets they were offering.
We travel from the west coast so we always spend the first night at a cheaper resort usually a moderate.
Ok so if I book one night at CSR with 6 day tickets. I know they are still good at BC, but will I have trouble booking fp+? Do I need to have tickets linked to my BC reservation to book FP+?
I never get the dining plan, but I was considering it at CSR because we would get the mugs. The mugs are good at any resort for 14 days. Is this correct?
The quick service plan for the 2 of us would be 92.00- 36.00 for the mugs so 56.00 dollars for 2 quick service meals and a couple of snacks for me and my 12 year old. The credits would still be good the first day at BC. Is this correct? Seems like a good deal since the mugs are included otherwise I wouldn't do it.
What do you think? Is most of this correct or have things changed?

So long as your tickets attach to your first stay, you will be able to book FP+ for the entire ticket length at 60 days.

It's the split stays where they have a few days, but then have a Free Dining reservation, so the tickets are on Stay 2, where the FP+ issues come in.

The one issue with your plan at CSR is Disney will not sell you DDP for a one-night stay at a Moderate.

Tickets are linked to your MDE (My Disney experience) account. If you also have an on-site resort stay linked to MDE, then you can book FP+ 60 days in advance from your CSR resort check in.

(If you do not have an on-site resort linked to MDE, then you have to wait for the 30 day window to book FP+)

Dining plan credits are valid until midnight of check out day. But be prepared to charge to the room if the system doesn't recognize the credits after the BC check in..but don't worry, the Front Desk will credit your account.

Yes I can book the Dining plan for one night at CSR. I already priced it out.

Good to know I guess we can have lunch before we check in.

That's a change, and I'd confirm. Last year, a 3-night stay was required for non-DVC stays to book DDP.
I'm not sure if it's a change, but I can book DDP with a 1 or 2 night stay online. I'm sure they'd honor anything that is booked. Are you sure it wasn't a three night stay required with free dining?
