I know you have to wait 24 months between credit cards in order to qualify for the 50,000 points.

My question is: 24 months from when?

1. Is it 24 months from the date you cancel your credit card?
2. Is it 24 months from the date the points are awarded to you.

Or 24 months from some other point in time?

My last offer said 24 months from the date you received the previous bonus. Nothing to do with the date you cancelled the card. I just did it with a Chase Marriott card. I called to check the date I received the last bonus, then waited a couple of months past that and reapplied.

Did you get those 100,000 points in the same rapid rewards account? You know that once you hit 110,000 points you get a free companion pass?
