Another September Question...

We are thinking about going the Wed before Labor Day- Sept 1st and staying until that Monday Sept 5th. How will the crowds be compared to July/Aug? Thanks!!

The crowd does not compare with the summer. Of course, the weekend will pick up. However, if you can wait one more week, it is traditionally the lowest week of the year. Last year was awesome during the week after labor day. We plan to arrive on labor day and stay for the next week.

We were there Aug 30-Sept 5 (Mon Sept 1 was Labor Day). The Sat and Sun before Labor Day were relatively crowded...some waits 30min to an hour. After Labor Day though, the parks cleared out and it was GREAT. We walked on most rides with no wait at all, and with it being so hot, the smaller crowds made a huge difference. We did all of MK in a half a day. If you can go the week of Labor Day, you really don't have to deal with the crowds.

the week before and of labor day is always really crowded but a week later it is like a ghost town WONDERFUL!!!

I LOVE going after Labor Day. In fact, I'm going back to school to become a teacher, and the part that breaks my heart is not being to go in September anymore!

I love haering about the crowds!!We are arriving on Labor Day and staying until Sunday. The only time I have been is on Spring Break and we could barely make it through MK.

I have heard the crowds are high but not as high as say July 4th weekend. Lots of kids, including FL ones go back to school in Aug now so it Sat/Sun will be your biggest crowds. If you do go then, do MK first and maybe do AK, Epcot or a water park on the weekend.
