Another Ridemax question

I read something about downloading it on your computer for best results. Trying to decide if I should do that before we leave for CA at our house, or wait until we're at our friend's house in San Diego. I can probably only download it once?

I'm new to ridemax, just bought yesterday, once you buy it they give you codes for online and download and you can do both. I honestly prefer the online. So you can access it anywhere even a mobile device, I have not noticed any significant differences between the two. But I am a newb

Plus I just looked to confirm and unless I am missing there is no way to save your itiniraries on the download version, where the online stores them and from the main page you can access already created ones or create a new one. I find this more convienant, this way I can just access via my cell phone verses carrying around a bunch of papers.

If you want to, just install the program on both your computer and your friends in San Diego. I have it installed on my desktop, laptop, and my daughters laptop.

As cemeb4dk said, the online version may be better for saving your plans, but I've always got better results with the download version. Plus, I tweak the final results like crazy and end up with my own fairly customized plan to avoid crisscrossing the park for FP's and also so I can run for FP's while my family rides some rides I don't mind missing - this may or may not be ideal for you.

I would suggest trying both, try the download version before you leave and see if you like it better than the online version. If you end up preferring the download version, just install it on your friends system when you get to SD.

I know when I emailed Ridemax and asked about installing on my laptop as well as my desktop they said "no problem".
