I do not know the answer to this question and thought I would see what others think.

I am building a ride using mostly space pieces, But in one room I have used everest track for a small part of it because it fits into the theme, makes the ride look better. Now would this be considered part of the themeing or would I get disqualified for not using all space ride tracks.

I can change it but it does not look a nice.

What do other enquiring minds think. I know it has to be exactly three rooms so I fixed that problem.

Looking for advice

My interpretation is that you MUST use ONLY space mountain tracks. Hope this helps!

Good luck, by the way!

Just to be safe I would follow what the update in the newletter says and you ONLY the Space Mountain Ride pieces :)

To clarify what she is asking she also wants to know if anyone feels say teleporters everest/water slide can be used for theming such as a mountain look or water wall look. But not as part of the ride tracks. I agree the track in the ride should remain space mountain, but am wondering the strict interpretation of this with what we know so far.

From what I understand, as long as the RIDE is composed of Space Mountain Ride Tracks, the decor can be anything you wish to use. If you're using other tracks as part of the RIDE, then I would suggest you change your ride a bit. Maybe have the Everest tracks in the room, just not connected to the ride.
As far as how many rooms to have, one, two or three rooms will qualify. No more than three rooms.

Yup, just play it safe and use all space mountain tracks.. i had a BUNCH of everest too that i wanted to use, but it isn't worth it getting disqualified.

i'd change it. I had to change 1 of my whole rooms because i had waterslide pieces instead of space tracks. The way i read the newsletter, it had to be all space tracks.

"you must use only the new Space Mountain Track pieces (that can be purchased from the Inner-Space Shop)."

I'd say you definetely need to use the Space track.

I have an idea. Just to be safe, use space ride pieces, but on either side of the section that you wanted to be everest (provided it is a small section), you could put everest ride pieces so it would be surrounded by everest ride pieces, giving the illusion that you used an everest track. If that doesn't make sense, it would look like this:
---------------- everest track
______________ space track
---------------- everest track (although you'd probably only need an everest track on the side that you could see)

Hope that helped some!

So it is ok to use say other poles like blizzard beach poles with the snow on top as part of the ride. If I use just space mountain stuff color does not work LOL.

You can put the tracks on whatever you want. But when the person is going around, since it's a Space Race, they have to be in that shuttle.

Well said! I think the same rule applies to decor too. Use whatever you want for decorations but (see above).

Belle, I don't know if this would fit in your room but I'd use the space track for the ride and put the everest track right next to it and raise it to hide the space track. Assuming white is your color, I'd use ice or the water slide poles.

Just a general comment... I've seen a few posts on this board about the ride competition and I'm so happy to see everyone honestly trying to help each other. Thank you all for being so supportive! :goodvibes
