I received an email telling me information about my offer. If it goes through they said I will receive documents by email. If I want them mailed or FedEx I have to pay. Is it necessary? Or is it ok to get them by email. Wasn't sure if I would be missing something to my legal ownership if it is only via email. This is all if my offer goes through ROFR.

I would have no issue with receiving documents via email and have done that for several real estate purchases (not DVC resale purchase). The convenience is great and you then have an easily accessible document in very compact form for future reference.

I now receive and send documents via email including refinancing a mortgage.

No doubt in my mind at all. I have far too many boxes of documents stored in the attic anyway. Storing them all on a portable drive takes a LOT less space! :)

I have purchased resale twice and received all my documents via email with no problem. :goodvibes
