Another Rental Car Question

We are going to Disney in Dec 2006. Obsessive Compulsive planner that I am, I looked into rental car costs for then and I got a rate quote from National for a minivan (we need two) for 347/van/week using the mousesavers code. Not a bad deal, I think.

My question is this, if a better rate comes around, can you cancel the ressie then get the better rate. Has anyone seen better rates than this on a mini?

Absolutely, I'm almost embarrassed by the number of times I tweak res!

Although I perfer National, EA; I'm currently book w/Alamo for end of June. I took a mini-SUV rate a few months ago, have recently lowered it by $30 to $186 (still too high for me).
BTW, not sure what week you're looking @ in Dec.; but we paid $141 for an intermediate (that we were able to select a Saturn Vue from EA) this year @ National. Are you using the Priceless code as indicated on mousesavers?

I just booked a mini-van for a week with Alamo for this Feb I used rate code of QVW,Contract code 428448 (walmart) & coupon code of AD14 ($20 off).. I received a rate of $214 plus taxes for the week . Grand total..$268. Do you think I could beat this price? any other codes I should try?

I booked National minivan last Sept with the priceless code and the entertainment book $20.00 coupon for a total with tax of $221.00 for 7 days. I think you can beat your $347.00 rate,

Did you use the "direct pay" cc payment method?

I used 803291 & BQW w/o any coupons for June.

I've always found the Entertainment rates/coupons to be good, haven't bought this year's book yet though...anyone have any luck?

They didn't ask for a credit card to book. I was looking for the pre-pay ,extra 15 % off; but it didn't show up when i was doing this reservation. They sent me a confirmation e-mail which I printed out.
I was just trying National rental and playing with a few codes off Mousesavers.com and was quoted a price of $242 for the exact times. I used the Priceless contract code # 6600330 coupon # 10009795 and rate code -CAW2 Does anyone know if you can use the Priceless contract code on Alamo? It doesn't seem to be working.
