Another reason not to take you lunch to work in a shopping bag...update pg. 3

Just to clarify...I cleaned out the cat boxes and just tossed the bag (double bagged!) beside the recycle bin. He knows this and he usually puts it in the correct trash can. He micromanages the trash cans so I don't have a clue which one he would want it in. I guess he has some he puts the plastic large recyclables in and then empties it periodically. I refuse to get into that game and just let him take it from the garage to his cans. :rolleyes1

I doubt and hope it didn't get into the fridge. He has a smallish cooler near his office if he needs it. Ewww...from a garage floor to the work fridge. :scared:

We need a barfing smiley.

at least he didn't put his hand in it thinking it was a bag of nails like my dad did one time :lmao:

Hmm...makes the time my BIL accidentally took a head of lettuce (again, in a grocery store bag) to work not look so bad!

My DH refuses to get a lunch type of bag. Every day he puts his sandwich/leftover and fruit in a grocery store shopping bag. Most of ours are blue as we shop mainly at one store. He feels he is being green doing this.

Well, today he layed down his sack on the garage floor to tie his boots and picked up the bag then went to work. It wasn't till noon he discovered he had brought a sack of cat litter siftings!!! :scared1:

Know what he did with it? He put it in his trash can. I can't for the life of me believe he would even want to take a chance some odor wouldn't leak out. Imagine what the cleaning people are going to think when they pick it up. :lmao:

BTW, yes, he is an engineer.

Best of all, he took it all in stride. Luckily he had some soup and oatmeal stashed at work. He didn't tell me till he got home tonight. What a hoot.

I really need to buy this man a lunch bag. Soon.

Gotta love those engineers!

OMG that is the funniest thing I have heard today - I put my cat litter droppings in a plastic grocery bag as well as my lunch but thankfully have never mixed the 2 up. If it was at my house the bag of cat litter droppings would have been a lot larger than my normal lunch (I have 3 cats and use the clumping litter - it gets pretty heavy) Thankfully I don't pack my lunch at the same time I take the litter out.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Engineers are hysterical!!!

Oh, this gave me a good hearty leaugh! Thank you!

I re-use all kinds of tupperware-esque food containers. I thought I was bringing leftover spaghetti to work for lunch one day in an old Cool whip container, but nope. It was a full container of Cool Whip. My co-workers all had spoonfulls of it and I was really hungry that day.

This is by far the funniest thing that I have heard today! :rotfl2: Thanks for the laugh! :thumbsup2

Another update*

DH got home and was telling DS about it. Of course we are all :rotfl2: again. But, now I find out he didn't figure it out until he put his hand in it and pulled out a "morsel".

:scared1:  :rotfl2:

Please tell me I am not the only wife of an engineer who is so competent at work and somewhat 'less' than competent at home.

I ask again, is he smelling impaired? Do we have a NASTY emoticon?

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Aw, somewhere in your story should be a tag, like, "My DH brings cat poop to work."
:lmao:

My Bil is an engineer with NASA , so smart and so NOT smart :rotfl:.

My husband works for a major Oil company, I love the company functions, especially our yearly camping canoe trip. Nothing like spending a weekend roughing it with a bunch of engineers .
