another randy chapman question!! re: engagement photos

i was looking into one of the photopass sessions at the resorts to get some nice photos of me and DH, but then i got into thinking how much professional photos would be. i noticed that randy now does family portraits too, so i'm wondering how much these shoots would likely cost.
looking at a similar package to his engagement shoots (just the 2 of us, but obviously we're already married!!). how much did people pay for their engagement shoots? (as a stand alone thing, not as part of the wedding package)
i've dropped him an email asking about prices but i'm impatient!!

I contacted him inquiring about engagement photos, he told me it would be $250 if you just wanted engagement photos. I decided that we needed to save that money and put it towards our wedding, so we're not going to do professional engagement photos. HTHs

when we had our disney wedding in 2005 i'd not heard of him, but now i have, i regret not being on disboards more when i was planning my wedding. his photos are amazing, and this is kinda my way of wanting to get my randy photos (even if they wont be the wedding photos).
does anyone know:
how long the shoots take?
where you can have them?
whether you can fit in more than one location?
how many photos you get?
do you get any prints included and/or do you get all the photos on a cd or dvd?

how long the shoots take? He said it would be about 1.5 to 2 hours
where you can have them? Anywhere public! Most people here had their photos taken at a resort, like the Poly. The resorts are very pretty and make for great photo ops.
whether you can fit in more than one location? Definitely I wanted to start at the Poly, and then head over to the boardwalk, and that was totally doable.
how many photos you get? I think you'll get somewhere around 300 photos.
do you get any prints included and/or do you get all the photos on a cd or dvd? He will give you the 4x5 "proofs" and a copy of all of your prints on a CD/DVD. You might be able to get some larger prints, you'd have to ask... but that's just what he told me was included in the package.

You can also try going on to his website... under Menu, go to My Photos. There, you can click on the links of different people who have had sessions from him. There is a DisBride here, Lindsay22, who recently had engagement pics taken by randy and you can see them there, 'Linday and Chris engag' She has a PJ on here too! I don't think she'd mind if you browsed her photos!

Nope, I don't mind... I don't have all of my pics loaded yet... but here are a few. Our session lasted about 1 1/2 at the Poly. It was $175 but that was included in the Randy package. He was super accomodating (it was literally about to rain buckets and the wind kept blowing my hair all over, you'd never know it from the pics..) Sorry my pics are so big. ETA: We got about 400 hundred photos (including about 20 photoshopped and 50 b&w... of the 400 we really liked about 150-my hair was in my face for a lot.... totally not Randy's fault. The weather's fault)

WOW what a good idea! I was planning on the regular photo shoot at the Poly for our trip in September, but maybe, just MAYBE I can get enough set aside to get Randy to do a shoot!!! His shots are amazing!

I believe that the session was $175 dollars. We did get about 150 pictures. Some were black and white and then some were regular. People always ask if the pictures taken at the Poly were actually taken in Hawaii!!! My DF hates having his picture taken, but still had fun. I would say that they are worth it!

He was great to work with, very helpful with my DF who HATES having his pic taken lol, and always let me know when my hair was out of place or I was getting a little "sweaty" (our session was in the middle of July...HOT!).

Thanks you guys. Randy does such an awesome job...I can't wait for him to photograph our wedding. Its nice to have someone who is willing to say "hey, your hair is in your lip-gloss" lol.

We had those photos at Grand Floridian. We started on the staircase inside, then on staircase/windowsill by the Tea room, then the dock by Narcoosees, then moved on to the beach below the main pool. It was an awesome time!

We're having him do some pics on our honeymoon this Sept so we get some great "together" shots, he is charging $375 for a couple hours. We're looking at GF and Boardwalk.
