Another question regarding Disney Visa Debit Card

Can somebody tell me how FD works with the Disney Visa debit card. IF FD is offered tomorrow as rumored to be, what do I need, just my card. I already have a reservation and I have already paid for my trip, I just want to add FD to it. I just got my Disney Visa debit card last week so I am new. Any info from any Visa holders is greatly appreciated!

We have the debit card...I just googled "disney debit card", and got to the disney page for both debit and credit. There's a tab for cardholder offers, and right now they only show the "kids stay/play/dine free" offer, but when you look at it you can see they give the phone number and code for it...

I imagine if it comes out, you'd call, and would probably need to pay the deposit using your debit card (that's the tricky part, isn't it?)...not sure about the balance.

However, Im' not really certain you could just *add* it to your existing reservation...they might have to rebook you entirely...might not be as easy as it seems.

I just for the card also.. my ta did switch me over to the kids free promo and I did not have to charge anything to the card.

Actually, I will be okay with "charging" some of it to my DV because in order to take advantage of FD, I will have to have them add back the $$ from the 40% off pin. My trip will not be paid off at that point, then they can add FD, and THEN I can charge some of it to my DV. The reason I want FD instead of using the 40% off pin is because we have a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 teens, so it would be 5 adults on the dining plan, which saves me more than the 40% off pin. Fingers crossed for FD announcement tomorrow.
