Another question for TGM users

I sent TGM an email asking about an on-site/off-site split stay. I checked the box that said I'd be staying on Disney property when I filled out the survey, but in fact we will be off site for 4 days, and on for 4. (There is no split stay option.) It sounds like it is difficult to get a timely reply from TGM, so does anyone see how having this information might change my AVP?

Lots of people do split stays- shouldn't affect your AVP at all.

Post your question on TGM forums and you'll get more help there.
TGM does not answer specific touring/planning questions thru email- that is what the forums are for!

It's never seemed to me that anything I said on the surveys affected anything in the AVP at all.

I think it only affects the recommended articles it puts into your AVP. You still have access to all the same information regardless. I don't ever even go into the "My Articles" section, I think that's what it's called. But that's the only place you'd see a difference. It's where you can see the articles at a glance that pertain to your trip. You can add articles or delete them from that section too. So if you're reading an article and you see up in the upper right hand portion of the page a plus or minus sign, that says "add to my articles" or "delete from my articles" or something like that, you can add and delete them from there. Sorry I wasn't more helpful, as I said, I don't really use that section. I can go look at it and give more details though if you need me to.

Thanks - I was concerned that since I can use EMH on some days and not others, it might make a difference in my AVP. I guess not.

Your best bet if you want additional advice besides what your AVP is offering is to go to the message boards and post there. It always meakes the best sense to post on those boards for AVP specific questions rather than coming over here simply because the TGM boards are set up specifically just for that where the Dis boads it comprised of many different planning theories. I believe even if someone from TGM staff replies to you they will direct you to the boards there as they do not plan specifically for individual families with the AVP (that is what his VIP and very expensive service does). Good luck and enjoy the trip.

PS there are great folks over on the TGM boards some of us are here too but there are others who only frequent TGM and they are very nice folks and helpful too.
