Another Question about staying at the Hyatt

Actually, another two questions about it!

What time do you have to leave when you are staying there, if you are taking the ME to the port? What time to you generally get to the port? And, are there a few departure times? What are they? (That is question one! :rotfl: )

And, has anyone had the breakfast included at the Hyatt??? What is it like?

1. THe busses from the Hyatt run continuously to the port during the morning of the cruise. You board at any time you want from about 9 until 11:30. As soon as one bus is getting full, it leaves and another pulls up. (I think they start running about 9 AM, but I am not certain.) It takes about an hour.

The Hyatt has a DCL bus check-in table in its lobby just for Hyatt guests and a CM escorts you down to the bus. It is very calm and civil. About 11:30, the Hyatt check-in desk closes and after that time you have to go down to the busses for arriving airline guests. They run into the afternoon.

When you check into the Hyatt, they will give you written instructions with all the times, etc.

2. The included breakfast (at least what we have had) is a choice between the buffet and ordering what you want from the menu. The buffet has fresh fruit, eggs, meats, some very good breads and pastries, cereals with various seeds and toppings, oatmeal, fresh squeezed OJ, waffles, etc. etc. etc. I have done both the buffet and the menu. THe buffet is very nice and has some items most breakfast buffets do not.

Wow - I don't remember a buffett - we did Krispy Kreme and coffee - Kids were standing in line at 8!!!! eheheh we kept telling them that we KNOW you are first in line - WE KNOW WE KNOW - and then we had to be first in LINE - then we had to be first on the bus - then we had to be first off the bus....

I can tell you now the kids will probably doing the same again next cruise too

how much the Hyatt was for the night? Did you book directly or use something like Priceline (I am :scared1: of Priceline:) .

Thanks.

Check the Hyatt web site they had a deal were you buy a certificate for 139 and it was good for 1 year or so. We have paid 169-199 in the past.

At certain times of the year, there are also good deals with AAA/CAA depending on the date.

Is this the Hyatt at MCO? Or is it at Port Canaveral?

The Hyatt they are talking about is the one right inside Orlando airport. It is a very beautiful hotel and there was a thread a few days ago that gave a ton of info on pricing for the Hyatt...look back a few pages and I am sure you will find it.

FYI to the OP....not to nitpick (only want eveyone to be on the same page with terminology) but the buses that go from Hyatt to port are called DISNEY TRANSFERS, NOT ME....Magical Express only runs from the airport to the WDW resort hotels and is complimentary. Disney transfers from the airport to port or from port back to airport or WDW have a fee.

I am staying at the Hyatt at MCO... and I wondered if you could buy alcohol at the airport to take with you on the boat?

Darn it! I was thinking I could buy my wine at the airport since I was staying at that hyatt the night before!

We asked the same question and even thought perhaps we could take a cab to a local liquor store but it doesn't seem as if it is worth the cost. Instead, we will wait until we get to Nassau and pick up something there.

We are having a town car picking us up and taking us to the port.. so I will just have them stop...
