Another question about available times for Fantasmic Dinner Pkg

Judging by what newmousecateer said it seems like they open up the later times 30 days out. I'll be testing this theory next week.

I just received an updated itinerary from the Itinerary Planners at BWI and it said that 4:00 is the latest time available for PS at Brown Derby on July 9. I emailed and requested that as the date nears, for the change in time to be made. This is silly. WDW needs to update the dining system to save everyone a hassle.

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on this. DH and I had a PS scheduled for H&V for Friday, May 14 @ 4:00 PM (the latest they had available) for the Fantasmic Package. Well, we called today which is exactly 30 days before our PS and we were able to change it to 6:30 PM. WOO HOO! So, it looks as though they do indeed open later spots 30 days prior. Just wanted to give an FYI to those who wanted to schedule a later PS.

Just wanted to let everybody know that I called back today and was able to get my FDP changed from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. As a matter of fact, she said I had a wide variety of times to choose from and could take my pick.

I told her I'd been calling weekly and there had been no availability for these late times and asked her if they open up more as the date gets closer and she had no idea. She guessed that they must because she had many times available.

Yeah! I'm sooo happy because we won't be at MGM this day, we'll be at Epcot and I didn't want to head over so early. This is perfect!

So, my advice based on this experience is to call back around your 30 day mark(our trip is in 34 days) and you'll probably be able to get a later time for the dinner pkg.
