I have the m&m tubes, and the great labels (thanks donatalie!!) for the quarters and pennies. I plan on buying the books once we're in Disney, but I'm not sure I want to carry around all 4 books in my bag. Is there another way you keep your pressed pennies? I suppose I could just use plastic baggies (not very creative, though). Just looking for other ideas! Thanks!

I just kept ours in the M&M tube with the quarters & pennies. We have a bunch though so we weren't getting a ton of them this trip, maybe 4 or 5 a day at most. Yeah, I had to take them out to get the next set of quarters & penny but at least I knew where they were. I then put them in the book at night.

What's the book?

You mean there's an organized way to keep up with these things that we've been carrying around in a baggie for years!!!

Please inform me so I don't look "so cool" with my baggie full of smooshed copper.

:rotfl2:

There are collectors books available pretty much everywhere...I bought ours in our hotel gift shop last time. They are small tri-fold books with slots inside for the "smooshed copper".

I know it's been a few days since you posted this but wanted to give you aheads up that while I was at Walmart checking out I noticed the Mento's Gum containers were oddly similar to the shape as the pressed pennies so I bought one to bring home and check and sure enough it fits in there :) you could stack them in there? Here is a pciture of the container :)

I have a question for you.The pennies fit after they are flat. Right? But the quarters won't fit in their to carry around the park will they?I am just looking at the odd shape. It looks like a good idea.

Thanks a lot!! That's a great idea!

Now...does anyone have a cool disign to wrap around that, too??

How many of these labels can you print on one sheet of Avery 8 1/2 x 11 sticker sheet? How do you resize them?

The pressed pennies fit really well on end in an old 35mm film canister as well.

I got the mentos the other week to use to put the pressed pennies in until we can get back to the hotel at night and put them in the books.
Its a great idea.
