Another pit bull attack, link inside....

See NYBlue1's post at the top of the page. CR's names has been drug into pit bull threads that she hasn't posted on. The one earlier this week is just the most recent. Close your eyes to the facts and don't believe them all you want.
So we should all just ignore the fact that the kids tormented the dog and a girl opened the gate? Why is it wrong to place blame where it should be placed? Ingoring facts and sticking to emotions is exactly how the anti-pit setiments continue to grow.

Now exactly where in my quoted post did you find me saying that CR's name hasn't ever been drug into threads where she hasn't posted, although I did say in another post that I've never seen it happen.

I'm not real sure here how to simplify this much more for you, but what I said was that I don't believe that every pit bull attack thread is stated to irritate her. I'm not closing my eyes to the facts, but it certainly appears that you rewrite them at will to suit your needs.

Perhaps you should go back to the original post and re-read the story. Then again, I doubt it would make any difference.

Why not scroll through the thread. I didnt begin 'defending my breed' until it started being attacked. I still stand by the fact the gate shouldnt have been opened. So if *that* is defending the breed - so be it.

I'd say that about any breed.

This has nothing to do with any bannings, nor do I really care that much about them. Some seem to think I do, but its delusional.

And I always -do- take the high road.

Well at least I tried. I still think you're a bigger person than this CR.

However - contrary to what you may think, I do have every right to 'defend' any breed when talk of eliminating them altogether, is discussed. Or how disgusting a person would be to own one. Or how it would somehow make you a bad parent to own one.

Using your words, Im not sure how to simpify this much more for you - but in this case - the opening of the gate was wrong. And THAT is why I defended the breed.

Perhaps you should seeing as you don't believe that anyone other than the dog and it's owner are at fault.
I'll make it really easy for you

A pitbull bit a ten-year-old boy, Tyquavious Clark, Tuesday night on Dorothy Street in Macon.

"We were walking through, going to the park and then the girl was playing baseball and then she hit the ball over the fence and then the dog came out when she opened the gate... then he jumped on me," Clark says.

The owner of the dog, Evelyn Willis, says the pitbull is not vicious and has never bitten anyone before. But Willis says that neighborhood kids often harass the dog by shaking the fence.

The boy suffered four bite marks on his cheek, including a chunk of gum taken out of the front of his mouth.

The mother of the boy, Anetra Clark, says she just wants the dog off the streets and doesn't want someone else to get bit.

"I just actually want them to take the dog permanently. You know, it's not like I want to see anybody go to jail or anything. I just really want them to take the dog and at least pay for my hospital bill."

The boy's bite marks can not be stitched up in case of an infection.

Animal control took the dog to a shelter for 10 days to test for rabies. If cleared, the owner will have to pay twenty-five dollars to get the dog back.

I still maintain that this thread was the wrong place to do it. I suspect you'll contiue to do exactly that though.
