Another pin! What in the world is going on?

I have waited forever to get any pin at all, and now I've gotten 2 in a week or so! One for spring dining and the one I just got today, is for room discount (20/25/30) for May 24-Aug 14.

What the heck?! Not that I am complaining. LOL

We were ready to book a few weeks ago, and I called and had THREE pins attached to my name. AND, I just got another one in the mail this weekend.

HOWEVER, only 2 of them were decent (Free Dining until 6/30/12) and 30% off room. The other two were totally lame.

I'm surprised that the PIN doesn't extend to August 25 when the Free Dining PIN begins. I think it stinks that it excludes the 3rd week of August, so right now there's either a room discount PIN floating around or Free Dining through the summer EXCEPT for August 15-24. Me and many others will be there during the excluded time and are paying rack rate and for food.

We used the 30% off pin that we had for Aug 18 - Sept 1. Otherwise, we'd have to use FD.

I like that thought that there is still hope out there for a pin code for the middle of August.

We are still waiting for one. We have already downgraded from 10 nights at Old Key West to 10 nights at Pop.Our next downgrade will be to cancel our disney reservation and stay 12 nights at Sanibel Island and Captiva. We are set to check in on August 12th and leave on the 22nd. I called today and no pin for us yet.

Are these arriving snail mail or regular mail? I haven't gotten one for summer dates and sure would love one, but I have gotten the Spring ones. What should I be on the lookout for? While I am overseas, someone collects my snail mail (most of it junk) but I wondered if I need to have them look for a new code? TIA

Do the July 30% off codes include DVC villas? I was just about to book BLT (just off the WDW website. I am not an owner, if that matters.)

The best I got (and booked with it) is a 20 percent off PIN for that week which was offered me via email and the mail back about a month or two ago. It was good for the whole month. I had heard of others getting it at that time too.

Does the 20/25/30 pin code include AoA? We have free dining at POP for mid June but would really love to stay at AoA. I know it's kind of a pipe dream for this year.

I call about once per week and no PIN yet. The last PIN I got was in November for % off Spring rates. It was an email PIN.

In 2010 and 2011 I was getting PINs all the time and then they just stopped altogether. I'm thinking they don't want me back.

Idk what's going on with these PINs but I received numerous free dining ones over the last few months and then I just received a 30% off one for May-Aug. it only goes to the middle of August tho. They really want us to come back I guess !

Unfortunately, it has an old home address on it, so I have to call them and get the address changed before I want to book anything with it.

Our family has cancelled our trip for on site, we are going to stay at Bonnet Creek if we do not get a good code and if the code does not come since we have to get a rental car we have decided to do all the other parks we have not ever been to before.

So not only is Disney not going to get our resort money they will only get us for a 4 day tix vs. 10 day.

We can not be the only people who are refusing to go without a deal.

I think I will cancel our package and just keep the room reservation. If no discounts come out for August 17th then I will get our tickets from Undercover Tourist.
