i did preorder my cd, and just read i can get a refund if i decide i didn't "get my money's worth", which is good because i was worried about that! BUT, i don't want a refund - i'd rather "get my money's worth".....

are the photographers all over the place? do you have to wait in a line? what are some MUST get pics?? obviously in front of the castle....

so tell me how to "make it worth" the $99 please... thanks!

It's been 3 years since we've been (we're headed back in a few weeks!!! :cool1:), but it was worth it then. There were photographers in many places, but you do need to be on the lookout for them. And make sure you write down your photopass card number and leave it in the room. I lost my card after about 3 days (had all our pics on it of my DD meeting all the princesses), but thanks to a VERY helpful, nice CM, they found our pictures after about 2 hours of looking! I think you'll find you'll get your money's worth. I plan on pre-ordering too here in the next couple of days.

I agree with the above that you'll get your monies worth, but its nice to know that you can cancel your order if you don't have many pictures taken. The photo pass photographers are everywhere and you normally don't have to wait for more then 1 or 2 people ahead of you. But most of the time they are just waiting to take your pictures. I also suggest you write the number down or take a picture of the photopass card in case it gets lost.

we were in disney 3 years ago and got a photo pass, definitely worth it!! we actually combined cards with friends so it was a great deal.
we are going solo this time!! but still going to get it!! but didn't know you can pre order and get discount,
where do you do this and the photopass website????

We just got back yesterday :sad1:. I looked up my photopass pics today, and we had 175 pictures!!!! So many great ones of our family.

Since we had pre-ordered the cd, I had my family stop at practically every photographer we saw! Even in the same spot on different days. You never know which day the smiles will be nice and the clothes will look perfect! :) Some of them also did the "magic" shots, which were fun.

There were ppp (photo pass photographers) in several spots in each of the theme parks. If you are going to the water parks you can get great pictures there! The ppp were in the lazy rivers, and in the big wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon. They are also at many of the character locations. Since I knew we were buying the CD I didn't even worry about getting my camera out when we were getting those character pics. It made it so much less hectic not to have to pass my camera to the cast member with each character.

Just thought I'd put my two cents in that I am very happy with our pics. And you will see the ppp if you keep your eyes open. They are all dressed the same, so they are easy to spot. And there weren't any lines. The most we ever had to wait is for one other family in front of us.

Enjoy your trip!

You can find the link at mouseforless.com under the photopass section. $99 for the photo cd and $149 for the cd and a deluxe custom photo album. Both great deals!!

I have a question - when you get back from WDW, can you play around with your pictures (add borders etc...) and save the changes and have THOSE pictures put on the CD, or is it just the ones that are taken? Thanks in advance.

i asked that same question to my cousin (who goes a lot and does the cd), she said YES - !!

Say yah to da Up eh!

If you preorder the CD you can get it for $99.

You should look at the photopass site to see where the photographers are located. They aren't everywher that it says except on the busiest days but will get trimmed down if it is a slower time.

Try looking at the photopass information on www.stitchkingdom.com It will tell you everything about photopass.

Are you able to see what pictures are on the CD before you decide if you want to cancel your preorder?

The pictures that will be on the CD are the ones from photopass cards added to your online account after you've purchased the CD. So, purchase your CD today. Go to WDW in Oct. Have photopass photogs take your picture and give you photopass cards. Go home. Go to your online photopass account and add the photopass photo card numbers to your account. Now edit the photos, add borders, etc. Don't like the pictures? Go to photopass site and cancel for full refund. Like the photos? Then "purchase" the CD. At checkout the prepaid credit will be applied to your account and you will receive CDs of all photopass photos from your trip.
