Another Passport question

Sorry to add another passport question - but I'm confused....

I'm sure that I read on here a while back that all kids had to have their own passports from last year, and also that passports had to be valid for a full 6 months after date of return.

I have now read the requirements on the US Immigration site and I read it as saying that my kids can go on our passports until October 26th this year. Also the only length of validity is 90 days from entry date.

Can anyone clarify this ? Although being stuck in the US does have some appeal !!!!

Thanks,

Tony

Yes, the kids can travel on your passports until 25 October. On or after 26 October this year, they will need their own machine-readable passports.

All passports must be valid for 6 months from the date of intended departure from the US - this applies now.

Hi,

The requirement for passports to be valid for 6 months from departure is waived for UK passports. Your passport does need to be valid for the length of your stay.
