Another Parkhopper Pin Party Success!

Yes, folks, Vince & Suzi pulled off another fantastic day/nite of pintrading at their private pin palace!

Thanks to Deb Wills at AllEarsNet, we had quite a few new faces mixed in with the locals, the <i>nearly</i> locals, the contingent(s) from PA and the last-minute breathless entrance by KathiWithanI!

A couple of exciting moments:
LindaD, DW of our very own JamesD, won Bingo!
Suzi & I managed an eight-for-eight spectacular trade -- a <i>personal</i> Parhopper Pin Party record for me!

Altogether, lots of fun, good pins, and great company!

[Parkhopper]

Well, it has been a busy couple of days this weekend! We had a very good meet with about 30 people attending. Dan from Ohio travelled the farthest to come to the meet, but Kathi from North Carolina was another long distance traveller. We had a lot of fun and hope everyone else did too! The meet started around 1pm and we finally got out of the pin gallery around 1am. We had a number of new people show up for the meet and many said that they would definitely be back for the next one! I have a feeling that October is going to be BIG! We had mystery pin trades, pin bingo, lots of Disney conversations, and of course some pin trading! We had a very successful day and were able to trade for about 75 pins. Thanks to everyone who came to the meet! We had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone again really soon!!

Well if I thought the traffic up there was bad... I knew NOTHING!!
The traffic back was WORSE plus I was in horrific rain storms for hours.... but it doesn't matter!!!!!
I had a WONDERFUL week-end! Added 4 more states to my state pin collection ( and now I even have an official list of the states I'm missing, thank you Vince ) and made a few other trades!
I had a wonderful wonderful time! I even stayed at the Parkhopper Inn. Now that is a real treat! Thanks so much!!!

Then on the way back I stopped at Potomic Mills ( of courrse!) and Yep Suzi, they still had those wall borders I wanted... so now I'll just have to return the ones from online!
Then I meet up with Sue Ellen and had dinner-- that was great also and I really enjoyed catching up with her
So now I'm home safe and sound and back to the real world.
I can not WAIT for September!!!

Next time!

I was so busy this weekend with my sister planning for the wedding next weekend that it wasn't possible to make it up there.

I did enjoy meeting up with Kathi on her way home (it sure pays to live less than 5 minutes from I-95!) We had a great time (albeit shorter than I would have liked.)

I hope to see you all again soon.
