Another Pal Mickey Question

The new Pal Mickey comes out May 5th, to kick off the celebration. here is my quesiton, What is the risk of them selling out before May 9th, which is our first day in the parks? Also, I called the resort to see if I could purchase one now, and have it waiting on my daughter in our room for a little surprise when we check in, but they said the only recieve our room reservation 3 days before check in. Does anyone know if there is anyone else we could go through... we are willing to pay now, just as long as we are assured to get one

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I was wondering what's different about the new Pal Mickey?

im not 100% for sure, but from what I understand, for the celebration, Mickey is supposed to be wearing a TUX, also, I heard (not sure how true) that they will also be releasing a Minnie as well.
