Another online check in question

How far in advance does Disney let you do online checkin? Do they send you an email to let you know it's available. We are a family of 7 with two rooms at Pop. We would like connecting rooms. I think I need to call but is it possible to do this online? And how do I note the two reservations?

It's 60 days before check-in but the rooms are not assigned until shortly before you arrive. So there's no advantage as far as room selection. Your best bet is to call and have both reservations noted.
