Another one! Teppanyaki vs. Coral Reef?

Ive made an ADR for Teppanyaki on our Epcot night. But Im having second thoughts and am sort of interested in the Coral Reef also. We have a teppanyaki type restaurant close to home that we love so is Teppanyaki really worth it? Im also a New Englander so seafood is something I've had many many times. I still love the idea of BOTH of these restaurants!

Should I still with my ADR for Teppanyaki or change it to Coral Reef?

I say Coral Reef. I went there last week on my trip to WDW it was AMAZING. We were put right next to the tank and the food was incredible. I plan to go back each time i visit the world.

Even if you don't sit right up next to the tank the view from every table is worth it at CR! Where else can you try to find what you're about to eat swimming next to you??

I think CR is very unique in atmosphere. Since you mention there is a teppanyaki style restaurant near home for you, I would try something different and go with CR!

I didn't think the Teppanyaki restaurant at Epcot was all that great--certainly a step lower than the ones I had been to before. I would go to Coral Reef because you know the atmosphere will be interesting.

The Teppanyaki restaurant is not all it's cracked up to be--the local one near our home we found to be better than Disneys. My parents and sisters visited last June, and found the cook to be boring--not at all interesting to watch, the food was so-so, and the service all-around was slow. The Coral Reef is definitely a better restaurant. You can't beat the atmosphere, and what restaurant nearby has the Chocolate Wave?

The Coral reef is much improved and enjoyed our last meal there in December 2006.That said we enjoy Teppanyaki and had several good meals there and service was great.The themeing at Coral Reef is awesome but the food was good not great and expensive even by Disney standards.Service was great at both.So you are coming from area with out of this world seafood,I would give Teppanyaki a try.No matter what you decide have a great vacation.
