Another old, partially used ticket question!

in 2006 my two DD, both under 9 at that point had 4 day park hoppers and more. They only have 1 water park day remaining. We are going in November, but now my girls are way beyond 9, can they still use these tickets at the turn style at Typhoon Lagoon? Do I have to go to a ticket office first or anything like that? Just curious, we did pay for this portion of the ticket at one point and have just not been to a water park since then, just hate to loose this, and don't really want to have to buy another ticket for this when we have an unused one.
