Another Newbie Question

Hello All
Thanks again for all your help and I have another question that someone shoul be able to answer
How does the points banked/points borrowed system work?
Can you add banked points from say 2005 and use your points for 2006 and 2007 for a trip on 2006. I assume all maint fees should be paid up and I'm aware of the point reductions the later you bank them.
Does anyone know the maint fees for BCV and BWV for 2005

Yep. We do this pretty much every other year - a few banked points from last year, this years points, a few borrowed points from next year - bank the rest of the points for the following year.

A nice thing about DVC is that you can borrow your points and use them before you pay the maintenance fees on the points. So if you want to do the scenario you describe, you may only have paid maintenance fees on as little as the banked years points and one month of current year's points when you go on the trip.

We do this with one of our contracts and it really allows you to stretch a small number of points a long way.
