Another Newbie Question. What is Early Entry?

Hi everyone. I got such a nice response to my last question I thought Id venture another. Ive been really hitting the boards hard and I see a lot of mention of EE. Can someone tell me what this is and how it works? We are staying in the Disney All Star Sports and I saw that transportation can be slightly delayed on purpose? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

EE is an hour of early entry into the parks on certain days. If you are a resort guest than you can get into whichever theme park Disney has selected to open early that day. There is a list on wdwig.com of which parks are open early on which days.

However, I went to wdwig.com and this is what they had:

SPECIAL NOTES: October 21, 2001
There are NO more Surprise Mornings for Disney Resort Guests. World events and the current economic climate have resulted in a number of changes and cutbacks at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Early Entry, Surprise Mornings - in the theme parks has come to an end.

No.
From what I have read- they stopped having EE for awhile and then started it back up again. It's even listed as part of the packages if you try it online with disneyworld.com.
Don't worry- they have EE -they just call it extra magic hour or something like that now.

Let me try to find the page that showed which park is open early for that on which day and show it to you... if I can find it again! LOL
