Another MyPoints question

OK, so the other post got me thinkin'. Can I order gift cards from the Disneystore.com site (free shipping right now), get my 3 points per dollar and earn say 4500 points and use the cards to pay off my trip? Anyone try this madness?!?!? I'm still working on figuring this MyPoints business out. TIA!

Yes I did and No it did not work. GC's are excluded

Can you get points buying Walgreen's gift cards?? Because you can use Walgreen's GCs to buy Disney GCs...just a thought!!

Just an update, I know there is a whole thread on this somewhere, I received my Walgreens GC from MyPoints today and had no problem using it to purchase a Disney GC at Walgreens. The cashier looked really confused and had to call for help, but it worked!
