Another mom like one in a thread below!

I came on to ask you all a question and there's a thread very similar. In that one, her kids want to stay at POP instead of POFQ. Well, I can't believe this. We have stayed in deluxes, at a moderate (POR), and last time All Star Sports. I'm planning our next trip for May 2005 and I have been reading all good things about Coronado Springs. We'll need two rooms since dd (who will be almost 15 then) wants to bring a friend, so we'll be a party of 6. We have loved everywhere we've stayed on property but I like to try new resorts. I showed the kids the pictures of CS and they are telling me they want to go back to All Stars Sports! It will save me money which is very bizarre since my kids never want to save me money lol, so should I just go for that? DH and I have final say - he'd probably side with them to save some $$ but I love the thought of walking the CSR grounds around the lake at night, the bike rentals, the pool, etc. but if they're happy at AS should I argue???

*LOL* I'd go back to ALL Star Sports. You can get 2 rooms & spread out.

Don't worry, before you can even "blink", you're kiddo's will be old enough that they won't want to vacation with old Mom & Dad. Then you & your hubby can spring on something more romantic!

I'd probably go with the AS too, since it sounds like you're going to need 2 rooms anyway, that's isn't an issue. My thoughts are:

1. How many more WDW trips will you have with your kids? I don't know their ages, but they will be going to college one day, and you can stay wherever you want then...

2. Your sanity. You said your dd will be almost 15, and my bil is 15 now, and if he doesn't get his way, he sulks. He (maybe he's a minority, I don't know, my kids are much younger) would not let you forget for ONE minute when you were in the resort that this is NOT where he wanted to stay and he didn't like the choice

3. Save the money and have a nice dinner with your dh, if possible. If not, a nice dinner for all of you.

Just a note, I'm not picking on your kids, these are just "general" things.....
