Try this: Hover over your username at the top right of the page, then click on any of the links below that, like "alert preferences." Then look at the left side of the page, where it says "Your Account" and click on "Watched Threads." That will bring up "Unread Watched Threads," and give you a list of threads you've subscribed to. If something isn't there, click on "Show all watched threads" in the blue bar at the bottom of the thread list. That should show you everything you've subscribed to. Hope this helps!

Make sure he goes to Stitch's Grand Adventure! Its so so much fun (and yes I did do it on the last cruise as they offered it to all and I love Stitch too)

Brand new to the DIS Boards (really any discussion forum)--My family (DH and I, DS-7; My Mother and Father in second cabin) is very excited to join everyone on this 11 night adventure--My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary and my Father is celebrating his 60th birthday-- and would like to join the FE group and Afternoon Tea (My Mother and I). I am not sure how to go about joining these. Appreciate any help and advice! We have been on two DCL cruises but this is our first TA. Thanks in advance!!

Welcome! With everything you just need to message the person organising it. You will however have to post 10 posts to be able to do this so as others have done just post a few things about you and your family and you'll be at the magic 10 mark!

Congratulations on your anniversary and on your Father's birthday!

I'm the organizer for the FE and I can also pass on your information to the Tea organizer (she doesn't get over here much). Do what Sarah said to get to 10 posts. You can even just post stuff like, "This is number 4," "This is number 5." Then you'll be able to send your info. I prefer to not have people posting Cabin numbers and such on the public forum. Just a safety thing.

I have been pretty lazy in that I just remembered to sign in to this message board. We booked in Sept of last year. We are going to do the FE, Mixology and Wine and Chocolate tasting. Can't wait. We are doing a week in Paris/Disneyland Paris the week before too!!

Someone on Cruise Critic said it was to make up for all of the engineering items that were not addressed in the makeover. Here is the link from the Cruise Critic thread. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2151075) and a quote from a former DCL CM:

The Magic is going back into dry dock this year because not only were a lot of the upgrades and refurbishments not completed in Cadiz on time to set sail, but because she has to have another within the 5 year period.
They probably would have chosen 2016 if all had gone well, but they overstretched themselves and a lot that was supposed to get fixed/replaced didn't happen.
Unfortunately the Imagineers take priority with DCL and the Engineers are always second place when it comes to priorities and budget.
The Imagineers get to walk away with a new spaces and a slide that all work, the Engineers are left to pick up the pieces unfortunately.

He does sound a bit disgruntled, but I could see it happening that below decks the CMs have to deal with the problems while guests are clueless that things need to be fixed.

Since I have asthma, I am just hoping that they don't do extra painting during the crossing, just the usual fixes needed to keep the rust at bay.

We are the Roberts Family- Shannon, Brandon, and Jacek (age 7). We live in Northern Virginia.

We are all Disney Vacation Club members and visit Disney World 2-3 times per year. This is our third cruise (my son's second) and my parents first Disney cruise (they are veteran cruisers otherwise).

I am an avid runner...especially runDisney events! I have run several Disney World Half Marathons and in 2014 completed the Glass Slipper Challenge (Enchanted 10K & Princess Half Marathon). My next race is the Expedition Everest Challenge May 2, 2015. Is anyone else participating in this race? Looking forward to the Castaway Cay 5K!!
