Ah, Jane, but we've come so far already!! There IS a light at the end of the tunnel, even if it's a long way offOf late I'm up the creek without a paddle! They say Covid19 has some of us stuck on the 'Anger' stage like in grieving. At least with there being 3 types of anger, I can shake it up. Hanging in here but it's really difficult.. sigh.
Boats for all of ALDIO-ians. You get aall in the same boat, right?
Ah, Jane, but we've come so far already!! There IS a light at the end of the tunnel, even if it's a long way off. Not saying it'll be smooth sailing, but we're getting there. Until we do, we're all here, listening and laughing along together, all in the same boat, right?

Well... DD will NOT get a vaccine on Tuesday, as she got up this morning with a fever of almost 102F. I took her to walk-in care where they tested her, and sure enough, she has Covid-19. We are all quarantined as she was here for about 8 hours on NYE, 6 hours on New Year's Day, and about 5 hours yesterday afternoon. Her fiancee and his 4year old were also tested (PCR test) so they won't know for sure for a few days, but the doctor says there's a 99% chance they are infected, too. DH and I will be tested on Tuesday afternoon. DH and I canceled all our vacation arrangements. Everything was refundable except the 4 nights on DVC points at SSR, and I'm waiting to hear from Disney about refunding our park passes. Part of me is tempted to go to FL for 4 nights if DH and I test negative, but I'm also thinking maybe we'll just stay home, take care of DD, and give this virus and its restrictions the respect it demands.
Oh no...pretty much the worst-case scenario and when she was thiiiiis close to vaccination too. Sorry.Well... ETA Disney isn't refunding anything. I can keep the money in the MDE account until we decide to go again.
I was following your thread because I've wondered the same thing. I know that where she works, if you are symptomatic you can't have the vaccine, but I don't know if that's because they anticipate those with exposure will have antibodies, or what. I'll let you know what I learn.Oh my Leebee.........I didn't read your post when I posted. So sorry and pray she feels better real soon. See, like the thread I started on the CB....will she still have to get the vaccine or want to; not that this is a concern right now.![]()
