Rum and coke... makes me miss Willy J. Hope he is ok.

I always serve lamb for Easter. I LOVE lamb. I grew up in a town with a large Greek community. Lamb is traditional for Greek Easter, so I had the best of both worlds: Ham at home on Easter, and lamb at a friend's on Greek Easter- which is usually pretty close to Christian Easter- this year they were on the same day.

Hi Jevs, and back at ya!

We've been busy here with Spring!! We've had to do the Home Insurance dance after damaging winds compromised our roof... Ugh. The roofers came, and repaired the lost shingles within days. Hurray!

However, we've been playing more phone tag than I'm accustomed to as a retired Insurance Underwriter. We've had calls to, and from the company, the agency, two adjusters(?) and the roofer himself. While we are appreciative our insurer sent a repair crew given the number of homes we've realized were, affected by the storm; Also, because we had Wind Coverage our whole roof is going to be re-shingled (-$ = existing roof shingles depreciation) we are weary of the stress.

Oh well, first world problem. Rant over.

Glad that this thread makes it to Page One every now and then. It's been a crazy April for me but May probably won't be much uncrazier. Yes, Spell check underlined uncrazier but I really don't care right now.

Have some lung issues I'm dealing with and infusions that I will be starting soon. Not happy with this but not much I can do at this point if I want to experience "my future". Not looking for any sympathy from you great Aldio DISer's.....maybe just someone to share a rum and coke with......or a laugh.

I tell my family I don't know when I will leave (this earth) but I will be doing it fully experiencing life. And as one of my favorite recent bands (Fun) sings.....Carry On!!

You really didn't miss anything LowKey as this is the first I've written about this. I was diagnosed with a genetic lung disease (in March) called Alpha 1. Without these infusions my lungs keep deteriorating. I will have to do these infusions once a week forever, so I'm hoping I don't have any sickly side affects from them. This is where I need all the positive thoughts.
