Wwyd? 5-6 nights....the Dolphin...Portofino Bay....DC MGM????

YCCL not available which would answer question Dolphin has cool adult vibe. PB CL seems swanky. MGM (very close) seems fun.

WDW......I gave up going to Universal. I like Harry Potter stuff, but the rest, not so much.
Took DGD when she was a toddler and nothing for her to do. That was our last trip

For me, I'd rather stay at WDW, in the bubble. I like Universal, but for me it's more of a one-day thing.

Where do you plan to spend most of your time, WDW or Universal?

If most of your time will be spent at WDW, I don’t think it makes sense to stay at Universal, and vice versa. Traffic between the two can be difficult to navigate, especially if you’re trying to avoid peak times on I-4, so I would look to minimize the driving as much as possible.

If it were me, and I knew I was interested in YC CL, I would book at the Dolphin and keep trying for the YC. If you don’t get it, you are still staying in the same general area at a nice hotel. If you do get YC CL later, even better.
