another I 95 question

This is the 1st time we will drive to HH, taking I95. I printred directions from AAA and Rand McNally. Please help because I'm obviously "direction / map challenged' ! Both say...
1. I 95 becomes Jersey Turnpike. Drive 68.2 miles
2. Go straight on I 295 S for 5.5 mi.
3. Take exit towards I 95, turn slight left and get on I 95.
Is the Jersey Tpke I 95, I 295 or neither? This whole thing makes no sense to me. I'm lost and I haven't even got out of NJ yet!!!!!
Please help...we leave Saturday! Thank you.

Technically The NJ TPK isn't I-95.I-95 makes it's way around Philly.The AAA triptik is easy to follow..Take the TPK South at the end of the Tpk you'll pay your Tpk toll and then 2 miles later you'll pay the toll for the bridge go over the Delaware Memorial bridge and follow the signs for I-95 SOUTH.There are signs for I-95 all over the road.Going through Baltimore and D.C. can be confusing just follow the signs for I-95 South.My advice also would be to leave early you'll need 15 hrs to make it to Hilton Head

Should we stay on I95 through the DC area, my Triptik has us going around DC on 495?? I think.

We are leaving 11PM on a thrusday night, we should be okay as far as rush hour in DC right?
