Another HUNDRED DAYS!

It's been a while since I checked in but I am finishing day 47 (in a row, I might add). :cool1: I have dropped a total of 12 lbs with WW, 17 if you count the very first time I stepped on a scale. And I am only 5 lbs away from the WW 10% goal.

So...I am a happy little DISer.

Thanks for letting me toot my own horn for a minute. :lovestruc

Hey, Kathy! Congrats on doing so well! I am so psyched for you to be camping with a fellow WWer. It makes staying on plan so much easier. Hey, if you get low fat graham crackers, I'd bet you could have 2 smores for 5 points total. :teeth:

Wendy -- Awesome job on those 17 pounds! :cool1: You must be so psyched!

You guys are so close to 50! YEAH!!! :thumbsup2

Yesterday was a disaster for me. I didn't get to the gym last night and I binged on chips & pretzels and chex mix. I haven't even tried to count the points yet. UGH! I really have to get on track -- instead of moving down, my scale is inching up.

I am now through day 16! I struggled through Chicago this weekend, but, due to the fact that we walked all over creation, I'm pretty sure I made it without actually cheating.

16 days down, 84 to go!
Thanks!
jana

I'm on day 47. Not much exercise this week as it's been stifling hot, but on track with the food. I'm also trying to increase my water intake. I do great at work, but when I'm off, I sometimes forget and don't drink enough. I'm off today and my son is at daycare, and here I am goofing off on the Dis. I promise it will only be for 1 hour, and then I'll finish up all I have to do around here.

Hey Cam! Hang in there!!! :cool1: You can do it!!! :cheer2: Remember those carb free night you had last week? Today's a new day. Like you've told me, make a plan and stick to it. :cheer2: Good Luck!!!!! :grouphug:

Thanks, Kathy! I took your advice and put my menu plan in my journal and mostly stuck to it. I really appreciate the support. I am now done 57 days!

I am at day 59 (today is 60 if I make it)

Keep up the good work that you have all been doing. The 40's and 50's are the hardest because it is not new and it is still a long way to 100 You have all come so far that you can do this. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I finished day 17 yesterday. Last week was a struggle! I'm really glad that today starts a new week.

17 down, 83 to go!
Thanks!

:) Finished day 48!!! Just 2 more days til I'm half way there. Have a wonderful day everyone.

For some reason, my post didn't show up! I am done day 58 and yesterday was very controlled. YEAH!!!

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a great week.
I am on day 50, and determined to make it. I lost 1.6 at WI today, which makes 26 pounds total. When I joined this board I was fighting to hit the 20 pound mark, and now I've passed the 25 mark. Thanks to all of you and your motivation and support. I'm so grateful to have found you all.
I'm off to camp for the weekend, and other than the smores, have packed all good food choices.
Have an awesome cheat-free weekend. :cheer2:

Kathy -- Congrats on the fabulous WI! You must feel great being 26 pounds lighter! I am so proud of you for packing good choices for the weekend. I hope you have a totally perfect non-food-focused weekend!

I am done 59 days as of last night. Today is day 60. Going bowling with friends tonight, but fortunately, we are not meeting for dinner. I am looking forward to eating sensibly at home and will take good snacks with me for at the bowling lane. Big family party tomorrow (after a 5K) and DB never has healthy food, so I am going to bring some stuff with me, rather than eating stuff I really don't want.

The scale was down another .6 this morning -- that is down 3.8 since my disastrous weekend and Monday morning WI. Another .8 and I will be at this month's low weight. I think I can do that, hopefully by Monday morning.

So, how are all our other challengers doing?

Hi all! Yesterday I finished day 19! The time is going pretty quickly. I have used 9 flex points in two days (ick) but I'm sure I'll be fine over the next five.

19 down, 81 to go!
Thanks!
jana

I am now officially at 20/100! It would have been so easy to eat something sweet last night while I was worried about dh (he ended up in the emergency room with a hernia but he is fine!) but thankfully I don't have anything sweet in the house! So yay for no cheating! :)

Today I finished day 21! I went "obituary hunting" and was afraid that I would eat poorly, eating only fast food. I looked up nutritional info and I did much better than I thought I was going to!!

21 down, 79 to go!
Thanks!

I am at 63/100. Yesterday was hard because poison ivy is setting in. I was working on my son's Eagle project and I guess I found it. My arms are very itching and Friday night I did not sleep that well. I did sleep better last night. If it doesn't start getting better I think I need to visit the doctor.

I am sorry that I had a couple of bad days in here because now I won't be finished before I go to DW. My twin sister just called me yesterday to see if I wanted to do a sister trip. She wants to use some of her vacation (besides the trip to Italy she has planned to see her daughter at her CP). I have to talk to my husband about it but I think it might be a go.

Well I'm home from my camping trip a day early due to torrential downpours. Our tent ended up in about 8 inches of water, and not being a seasoned camper, it just didn't stay dry inside. Luckily I had bought a 29$ cabana to put over the picnic table whiched worked very well. Though there wasn't much to do but sit around the table and eat, which wasn't as bad as it could have been, but then we went out to dinner on the way home, and I had a huge salad with feta, bacon, eggs, and chicken, and french onion soup. So yesterdays a wash for me, but as of friday I am 50 days cheat free!!!! I'm starting fresh today. On to the second half!!!!!!

Hope you're all having a great weekend.

Jana -- what is "obituary hunting"? Great job on staying on track! :thumbsup2

Well, I used 1.5 FPs Friday and 8 yesterday, but am still on track.

I am at 61 days cheat free. 11.9 pounds to lose in the next 7 weeks and 5 days before I get on a plane to California. Sometimes it seems very do-able. Other days, not so much.

Dona -- sorry about the poison ivy. Hope you soon have that trip to look forward to.

Tasha -- good job on no stress eating!

Kathy -- I am glad your eating was contained while you were camping. One "heavy" meal is something you are obviously getting past quite well. Keep up the good work!

I'm on day 52 and cheat free. I'm motivated to stay on track as my goal is to lose 5 pounds a month before my trip in November, and I need to lose 1 pound this week to stay on track. (and to change my clippie to 10!) Got a nice walk in after work, and just walked about 20 min down town with my son to get ice cream. I did get the fat free frozen yogurt which was sooo good and point friendly.

Hey Cam, sounds like you're doing great this week. Good luck with the next 7 weeks. It is defenitely attainable. You can do it!!!! :cheer2:

Jana- I was wondering what obituary hunting is too? I can't even imagine.

Awesome job staying cheat free everyone.

I have now finished 23 days. Unofortunately this week was a struggle and I used every flex point/activity point I earned. :guilty: Fortunately I broke even, no gain, no loss. Not what I wanted, but certainly better than a gain. I don't know why summer is soooo hard for me

I do genealogy and part of the research involves finding cemeteries and obituaries for long gone relatives. I have to drive to another city (about one hour away) to do research. I am currently going through old newspapers which are not indexed and have obituaries scattered throughout the pages. I call it "obituary hunting" because it takes a lot of work and patience. Eating on those days is difficult because there are only three microfilm machines and if you leave, you might lose yours. I drive through McDonald's or Hardee's, scarf my lunch down in the car and get back to the library as quickly as possible. It's really a lot of fun, but it's hard work.

Sorry, that was a long explanation for a pretty simple thing.

I had an MRI on my foot yesterday as it just isn't healing yet. I told the doc that I'm ready to have surgery and just be done with it. Unfortunately right now they don't know what is wrong, so surgery is not an option.

23 down, 77 to go!!
Thanks!
jana
