Another HUNDRED DAYS!

63 days done.
I plan to splurge tonight. My best girlfriend is in town today (she lives 2 hours away) to take DD shopping for dorm stuff (she is her Godmother) and we are all going out to dinner afterwards. I am going to WW just to WI and then meeting them, though we haven't decided where yet. I plan to eat whatever I want since it is the tail end of my points week and I've used less than 10 FPs this week AND I already have APs from my time at the gym this morning. So, no guilt and it won't be cheating. :teeth:

Jana - That sounds like a fascinating job. Any chance of smuggling a sandwich in (cut in 4 and wrapped) so you can eat at the machine or right outside the library and NOT be tempted by fast food? I have definitely found it so much easier to stay on plan when I pack my food for the office.

Good luck and congrats on being almost 25% of the way done!

I'm on day 54 and cheat free this week. Since I didn't make my week straight last week, I think I can do it this week. It helps to be working this weekend. I still have 12 flex points for thurs and fri, and no big plans. That usually helps.

I was just noticing the great diswish clippies around here- Dona- 30 pounds!!! :cool1: Cam- 40 pounds!!! :cool1: and Jayna-60 pounds!!! :cool1:
You girls are amazing. :thumbsup2

THanks, Kathy & congrats on finishing 53 days (fix your siggie pic! :teeth: )

I had 33.5 points last night for dinner and dessert and was beyond satisfied. I still had FPs leftover, too, so I don't feel too badly about having done that.

I am done 64 days and starting my new WW week today. I really have to save flexpoints since we will be away this weekend and I am sure food will be an issue.

mikamah-thanks for the congratulations on my clippie! I'm desperately wanting to change it to 65! It seems like it is taking forever!!

cam--Unfortunately, genealogy is not my job! I sure wish it was, but it is just a time consuming hobby! I have thought about sneaking food into the library but my mom was a librarian and I feel really guilty about breaking the rules!

I have now finished day 25! 25% complete! Yay!
25 down, 75 to go!
Thanks!
Jana

Ah, one of those rule-abiders! I like the way you think. Perhaps you could carry a cooler bag in your car and go out to your car to eat. I do that now at seminars to avoid the luncheons and restaurants. It gives me a break away from the event and the feeling of satisfaction of controlling my food and a quick chance to read a chapter in a book or something while I eat.

I finished 65 days yesterday, though I used all 4 of my APs AND .5 FP. Not at all what I wanted/intended to do, but just glad the evening didn't turn into a fast food binge. There is always that very real possibility.

Lots of challenges in the next few days: in conference all day today with a colleague preparing for a hearing tomorrow; having lunch together today and possibly dinner tonight (I have to squeeze in a trip to the gym, though). In court all day tomorrow with lunch at a restaurant; on the road tomorrow night for 5+ hours driving to Williamsburg, Va. All day Saturday and Sunday at amusement/water parks, then the long drive back Sunday. Hoping to keep things under control.

I may not get to check in here again frequently over the next few days, but I will update whenever possible.

Cam-thanks for the suggestion of packing a lunch. I really have no idea why I didn't think of that-I pack a lunch everyday for work. Maybe it's the "thrill" of getting to eat fast food so that is where my mind is focused!

Anyway, I finished day 26 yesterday. I did use earn three activity points (and used them plus one flex point.) I just couldn't stay away from those 100 calorie snack packs. The scale still looked okay this morning but I'll have to be more careful between now and Tuesday.

26 down, 74 to go!
Thanks!
jana

I'm done 55 days. I weighed in and gained 0.6 pounds today. I was bummed, but went grocery shopping and am going to try real hard to eat healthier. I bought more core type foods, and after this week, may consider trying core. I just don't know if I can control my portions. We'll see.

Good luck to you Cam with all your challenges. You can do it. :cheer2: Have fun at the amusement parks.

Congrats Jayna on 25%!! :cheer2:

Have a great weekend everybody.

I have finished 68 days as of last night. I'm sorry that I haven't written much this week. Poison ivy is getting better but with the heat here in nj it is slow in clearing up. I was out blackberry and rapsberry picking this morning and it made me itch a lot. I think it is almost time to hit the pool. First I have to make a batch of blackberry jam. Iput some raspberries already into the freezer (There weren't a lot of raspberries this morning but blackberries were plentiful) and will start to put the rest of the blackberries into the freezer this weekend. I can't wait to make a berry cobbler for Christmas dinner. (I put 20 pounds of blueberries in the freezer last month along with some blueberry jam and strawberry jam in the freezer as well.)

Keep up the good work everone you will all get to 100. I just know it.

I finished day 27 yesterday. Overall it was a bad day--I used four flex points and didn't go to the gym, but I suppose it could have been worse. Last Friday, the foot doctor told me to go out and do whatever I had to do to make my foot hurt before the MRI, so I did. The day of the MRI, the radiologist poked and prodded (believe me, he found the sore spots!) This week my foot has hurt as badly as it did right after the injury. I'm so tired of this. Tuesday morning I get the MRI results and I am so scared that they are going to say they didn't find anything and it is all in my head. Eight months of pain all in my head! Keep your fingers crossed that they find something and we can solve this problem. I can't keep eating my way through the pain.

27 down, 73 to go!
Thanks!
jana

pixiedust: Jana, there is nothing worse than not knowing. I am praying that they did find something on the MRI. I am sorry for all your pain and sending you pixiedust: pixiedust: . I hope that you get a diagonosis and something that can be done for you.

I'm finishing day 58. Am still cheat free, but have used 12 flex points at a birthday party today, on everything pizza, and a small piece of cake. But now I'm home, and the food supply is better controlled, and should be fine.

Jana, good luck with the MRI. I hope something turns up that can be treated. It must be awful not having an answer and being in pain for all those months. Hang in there. :grouphug:

Dona, those berries and jams sound delicious.

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

I just checked my date book and I am at 71 days. My choices for food have not been the best but not been the worst. But it is really hot today and it is only going to get worse this week before it gets better (I am a weird person I have no air conditioning in my house. If we are lucky the sea breeze will kick in the next few days (I live 2 miles from the ocean)) My poison ivy is still itchy at times especially in this heat but it is easing up.

All my jelly is done and I just have to put them in the freezer. All the berries have been frozen and ready to be used this fall and winter. I still want to get some more raspberries but that will be when it gets a little cooler (Maybe next weekend)

Jana good luck with the MRI

Well with only 30 days to go I really better be the best that I can be. Less than 1 month until my trip with my sister and just a month until school starts for me. I wanted to finish this before I went back to school but it will have to be after Sept 1str if I am going to DW (although I may be able to watch what I eat when I am there but I don't want to limit myself, will just have to see what happens)

Keep up the good work everyone.

Hi, everyone! I ate way too much Saturday night at a golden corral buffet, but we walked all day Saturday at Busch Gardens and walked and swam at Water Country yesterday. We also walked some at BG again yesterday (we went back to get in a couple more roller coaster rides and to say good bye to the Clydesdales and a very sweet miniature donkey named Zipper).
It was a lot of fun, but I know I could have made better choices on food Saturday night. All in all, not bad, though.
I am done 69 days.
Crazy at work so I'll catch up later. :thumbsup2

Today I finished day 30! Thus far this week I have only used eight flex points (tomorrow is the last day of the week!) Let's hope the scale shows a change in the morning. It has been so darn hot around here that I haven't done much in the way of exercise.

donac and mikamah-thanks for the good wishes about my MRI. I see the doc tomorrow morning at 9am. The weekend went faster than I thought it would. I just have to pray that he doesn't tell me the pain is all in my head.

30 down, 70 to go!!
Thanks!
jana

I also managed to finish day 30 today! Dh had his surgery today and I am exhausted so I know I won't get any exercise in tonight but at least I stayed cheat-free.

I just did the figuring and I'm done with 72 days. 3 bad ones in FL out of 24, and 3 of 4 bad since I've been home. I'm hopefully back on track again now. But, when I'm bad, I'm REALLY REALLY BAD!!!!! I won't even go into how much ColdStone Ice cream, Krispy Kremes & chocolate dipped fruit I've consumed over the weekend. STRESS!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm just finishing day 60. Feels like I'm on the homestretch now. It will be almost fall when I'm done. Sad that summer will be over, but my Disney trip will be so much closer. :mickeyjum

Hey Jana, hope everything went well today at the doctors. Good wishes are with you.

Welcome back goldcupmom. 3 out of 24 days doesn't sound bad at all. Congratulations. Hope your trip was awesome.

Hi Cam. Sounds like a nice, busy weekend. Welcome back.

Hope you're all having a great week. Keep up the good work. :cool1:

Hi everyone! Yesterday I finished day 31. It was my weekly "free day" and I really enjoyed it. I don't go over my flex points, but I will use what I have left.

I am back in the boot. The MRI showed that my peroneous tendon (I think) is still inflamed, along with another one that runs across the bottom of my foot. The first tendon is "degenerative" and has some "longitudinal tears." There is also some arthritis in the cuboid bone. The doc said it is good that there is not stress fracture. He could put me in a cast/crutches but said that would be "torture." So, I am in the boot for three weeks. On August 22 we go back and review. If it's not better, I don't know what we will do. There is still the possibility of a cast. My internet research indicates surgery, but he hasn't mentioned that. If that is the case, it won't happen until the first week of October because, unless it is a complete emergency, I will not cancel my birthday trip to Disney. I've had the injury since January--another month isn't going to hurt.

Sorry that was long, I was just trying to remember everything.
31 down, 69 to go!!
Thanks!
jana

Jana -- I am glad you got a diagnosis so that you can work toward a cure. I hope the boot does it for you. Sending pixiedust: and :goodvibes:

Julie -- You never cease to amaze me! :thumbsup2 Good job, kiddo!
Hey, did I miss your birthday? :cake: Happy birthday!

I finished day 71 yesterday. I haven't done as well during this challenge as I should have, and have often squeaked by by the skin of my activity and flexpoints. But, at least I am here, right? I really appreciate the support.
