It's weird with the either/niether thing. I go back & forth between the pronounciations, but I mostly pronounce either as"E-thur" & the opposite with niether being "Nye-thur"

And white is "why-t", not "wah-t", "wot" or "hu-why-t"

I say white as whiiiiiiT. My SO say wah-t. I say the i in either, not the e, I say the i in neither, not the e. My SO pronounces the e's in both words (as do most southerners).

It's puhcan, for pecan. And carmul for caramel.


Don't get me started on how he says tire and fire.

Do you consider Ohio north? Because I have never heard it pronounced pee-can, only p'con and I also only hear car-mull, hardly ever care-uh-mel.
