In 2014 I am taking my daughter to Disneyland for her sweet 16, along with a few friends, my other two DD and best friend! Been looking at hotels to figure out the best place to stay. Would like to know if anyone out there knows of a place that can accommodate 6 without someone sleeping on a sofa sleeper. We have ten going but want my daughter and her friends in one room. We are already looking at Residence Inn Maingate, Embassy Suites North, and Desert Inn and Suites, all of which I have been to. With these options though 2 people will end up on a sofa sleeper, except RI but if I remember I didn't care for the price. I have looked in to vacation rentals but really haven't found one I liked yet. Just wondering if I have overlooked any hotels?

A lot of the nearby hotels have connected rooms that can sleep 8 in four queens. Carousel Inn has some permanent adjoined rooms.

At Desert Inn, somebody doesn't have to sleep on a sofa if you get a larger room. We often get one with 4 queens. Depending on the prices when you are going, the larger room may still be a more economical choice than some others (their prices can vary greatly - we've paid between $99 and $139 for that size room - and I know I have seen it higher).

Camelot has a suite room with 3 Q beds...two in one room, one in the other. They are a little pricey...last time I checked I think they were about $213, and they also charge for parking. Their breakfast is also not so great. But they are clean, and have a dining table in their suites, which is handy.

thank you! though I have considered this option I really would like to find one suite that can accommodate them. If I end up splitting them up I would most likely go with Motel 6. While not " connecting " I know I can get rooms together.

Yes, I have looked at this. It actually accommodates ten when you consider the sofa sleeper. Rack rates put this a just a little over 200 / night. which is fine, but since this is a bare bones place I'm not willing to splurge for two rooms. Is on our list of considerations though .

If you are ok with a Motel 6, then I'd suggest you stay in a place right across the street. Just for the convinience.
