I am headed to DL in July with 5 family members and we are trying to decide where to stay. I have narrowed it down to Del Sol, Desert Inn, and Park Vue. We are fine with bunk beds or three queens, but not a sofa bed, and these three seem to meet the requirements. I usually stay at Hojos but they have raised their rates too much. We prefer to stay on Harbor since we will not have a car and like the convenience of being close to the gates.

I want to know if our luggage can be held for us both before we get our room and after check out time on our last day? We arrive before noon on our first day, and our flight doesn't leave until 7:30 pm the last day.

Also, are we able to order groceries and have them held until we arrive?

Any feedback would be appreciated as well as any other suggestions.

Deciding what is of most importance to you may help you decide between these 3. In my experience, Park Vue is by far the nicest. We use Desert Inn as a budget "just need a sleep and shower place. I believe I've heard similar thoughts about Del Sol. Beds at Park Vue were much more comfy, and we've always been much more impressed with the staff there. Though I've read that the beds in the suites at Desert Inn are more comfy than the beds in their regular rooms.

Park Vue's breakfast recently lost it's hot items, but I'm willing to bet it's probably better than Desert Inn's, if that colors your decision at all.

Park Vue will hold your luggage before your room is ready, and on check-out day. Desert Inn has lockers ($1.50, quarters only) on their property for your luggage before your room is ready. They will only hold your luggage if all of the lockers are full, or your luggage is too large to fit in one of the lockers. The lockers are pretty large (large enough for my checked suitcase).

No help on this one. We've talked about ordering groceries before, but haven't ever actually found the need to do so. We just walk down to one of the 7-11-type stores on our arrival day, and get whatever we need. The Cove at Tropicana has a fair selection. And there's CVS, Walgreens, 7-11, and ABC Market just a 10 minute walk south on Harbor at Katella.

With a party of six, I would lean toward DI&S, just for the extra space. As the pp mentioned, storage lockers are available. At PVI, I would choose the three Queen suite. I've stayed in the two queen/bunk bed before, and it was REALLY tight. The furniture takes up most of the floor space, it was even difficult to figure out where to park an umbrella stroller. PVI will hold luggage. I've never stayed at DelSol, just haven't heard enough good things to convince me to try it.
