Another half board question

We are considering doing the half board option when we go in January, the problem we have is that we are a party of 3 adults and 1 child of 10years who will not eat anything from the restaurants. Will they let us just purchase vouchers for the 3 adults?
The other query I have is, according to different web sites if you are staying in the DLH you can only purchase the premium half board option, is this true?

I might be wrong as I've never used them but I thought you had to purchase the vouchers for your entire length of stay and for every member of your party. I also thought DLH was excluded from the vouchers so you might be right in that you can't have the standard vouchers.

Hopefully someone will be along who has used the vouchers and can give you a better idea.

Im sure you can purchase any option wherever you're staying.

Usually you have to purchase for everyone in the party but perhaps if you could explain that its for medical reasons you dont want them for DS they may understand.
If you phone up and they say no at first it may be worth trying again another time as you often get different answers from different CMs

Ive just checked the official brochure and no where does it say you have to have premium if staying in DLH but it does say they have to be bought for every member of the party

I might give them a ring, we would probably purchase the premium vouchers anyway as ds1 would like to eat at the CG again, but if we have to pay for
ds2 then it's not worth it. They were very good in July, we didn't have to pay for him at the buffets.

Did you have a Drs note or something to show in July especially at the buffets - it may be you have to offer to send a copy of that to Disney to not have to buy vouchers for DS2

We just showed them the disability pass and they were quite happy with that, but I will probably ask his paediatrician or school nurse to write a couple of letters for our January trip.

Where abouts can you use the Preminum vouchers?

You can use the premium vouchers pretty much anywhere except, planet hollywood, rainforest, king ludvigs and macdonalds.

We booked the DLH with standard plus vouchers, so you don't have to have premium if you don't want to.
